2 Bedroom Hidden Haven Close to Downtown
About Terri Giamartino
I am a small business owner living in Berkeley for the last 35 years. I am an avid martial artist and have owned a martial arts studio since 1993. I love the outdoors, gardening, cooking and art. I love to travel, and entertain and can show you the all the nooks and crannies you might not find on your own. Staying at our home will not disappoint! We are a household of 4. Our boys are college age but living at home and working. We are busy professionals and aren't always around, but one of us works frequently in the garden, so we are around using the yard. There is plenty of space for privacy and also opportunities to socialize some if it is preferred.

Great choice in Berkeley
This centrally located, well-maintained apartment was perfect for two adults and two school-aged kids. We had everything we needed and were close to our family and friends.

Delightful apartment in Berkeley
A delightful apartment in perfect position for visiting both Berkeley and San Francisco. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Beautiful and well maintained deck area and garden. Provided everything we needed - stayed there with my family for 10 days in June and would definitely go back if visiting the area again. Terri, the host, was always helpful and responded very quickly to any queries both during the booking process and during our visit. Accommodated a late check out at short notice.
Spring break at Berkeley
We stayed in this apartment for several nights while we were visiting our adult daughter who attends Berkeley. It was a perfect spot. The unit is a block off of University Ave which is very busy and we were ever so glad to have this quieter location. The unit is on the second floor so it had good light and the ability to see a little ways around the neighborhood. Everything worked, the weather was a little chilly but the furnace worked well and kept us toasty warm. The flower beds had received recent attention and looked lovely and there was a outdoor bench where you could sit outside.
We liked this unit and would definitely use it again.
Great place to stay for a girls get away.
My daughter, 2 daughters -in-law and I stayed in this apartment for a 4 day girls get away. The apartment was a short walking distance from the BART, groceries, and restaurants. We found the beds to be very comfortable and there’s a cute patio to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails.
Terri quickly answered all my questions and was very accommodating with an earlier check in time. All in all this is a wonderful place to stay if you’re visiting the Bay Area. Happy Traveling.
Thank you for taking the time to write a lovely review. We are really glad you enjoyed your stay. We also enjoyed meeting you!
Cozy, quiet, convenient, comfortable even for a family with 2 young boys
I'll echo the sentiments of other reviewers. Great location for both business and exploring the area. Plenty of room to unpack. One minor issue was met with genuine concern for resolving the situation. Great value, great hosts, great neighborhood.
