Welcome to Jay Bird's Nest, our view of the Smoky Mountains. This is a luxurious, 2 bedroom log cabin located less than 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge.

This cabin sits on a beautiful 1 acre lot with panoramic mountain views. The amenities include king and queen log beds with a jacuzzi in the master bedroom, a full-size futon upstairs. If you enjoy staying in, there is a fully-equipped kitchen, and afterwards you can enjoy the sunset while sitting in the 6 person hot tub.

For your entertaining enjoyment, there are 4 satellite TV's, (so everyone can watch a different channel), along with a surround sound/DVD system in the living room. With speakers wired outside, you can enjoy music inside or even while grilling outside.

If you enjoy a game of pool, you will love the game room upstairs that includes a stereo, DVD player, and a wet bar as well as a table with bar stools for 4 people.

With any luck, you may spot the our newest neighbor, the bear!

Fabulous Cabin

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time staying at this particular cabin. It was a very cozy, well equipped cabin that our family of four truly enjoyed! The location is very peaceful & off the beaten path, but located ideally between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. We will definitely look at renting this cabin again!

First time renting a cabin & I made the perfect choice. Searched the internet & by shear luck came across this one. The cabin was very clean, very well stocked, beautifully decorated. Loved getting up on the crisp mornings sitting on the porch listening to nature come alive. The beds were comfortable. Not too far from all the attractions but away enough to get off the beaten path. Directions given were right on target. After riding for 7 hours it was home away from home. I highly recommend for any occasion.

Great cabin

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect cabin for us, it was very well stocked and the decor was great. After a long day riding motorcycles we relaxed to a game of pool, then hit the hot-tub. It was very quiet and relaxing. In the mornings sit on porch and had our coffee. I would highly recommend this to family and friends. Hope in the future return to this exact cabin.

Great Cabin

  • 4 of 5

This cabin was pretty good. Access to the cabin is fairly easy. One of the easiest (road wise) to go to out of the three we have stayed at in the Smokies. We would definitely stay here again. The pool table in the loft area was fun to play. The master bath jetted tub was awesome to relax with the wife after a long day. The cabin was clean. A few things that could have been better, there was only a couple of rolls of toilet paper so make sure you pick some up before getting to the cabin. When trying to use the hot tub outside the temperature never rose over 95 degrees even though it was set to 104. The jets where not running very high. We even tried the lever by the temperature gauge and rotate the jets to get them working and it still ran slow. Contacted the owner which she called her hot tub maintenance guy and he fixed it. However, we did not have use of it for a day and half. There were a few wasp nests on the eves. I realize that the cabin is in the woods, however, when in the hot tub some would fly towards you. My wife is allergic and we try to be somewhat on the lookout for them. We could not find the DVD controllers. These are nitpicking issues and the cabin was great and for the most part nice and relaxing. The other complaint would be is the checkout time is at 10…the earliest of any cabin we stayed at. We would stay here again.

Nice cabin

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I rented the cabin for a weekend trip to celebrate our 24th anniversary. It was just the two of us so we had more than enough room. The cabin was neat and very clean. I'm not sure how the one reviewer got to the cabin but using the directions we were given we drove to the cabin from the main strip in Pigeon Forge in less than 10 minutes. The cabin is located in a nice quiet area but close enough to all the restaurants and activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to easily go back and forth throughout the day. The only changes I would make would be better pillows for the beds and the tub in the master bathroom seemed very slick once I turned the shower on and it got wet. Maybe some decals or a tub mat of some sort might help with that. We had a great stay and enjoyed our trip very much!

Love the cabin, and everything about it!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed staying at the cabin with our children. There is a beautiful view and the cabin is perfect for a family. The owners were great to work with and always prompt with a response. We came home and have already recommended this cabin to our friends. We look forward to visiting again in the future.
