When we came to Cayman Brac, we fell in love with the island and its people. As divers, we found the reefs spectacular. We love the laid back lifestyle and eventually built a home in hopes to retire here. This is our home away from home and hope others find it as relaxing and comfortable as we do. By comparison, you'll find renting a house more economical for larger families. A fully equipped kitchen will save on meals as well. Please view our website to see many more pictures.

Cayman Brac is unique in its landscape and tranquility. This is a place where we can relax and enjoy nature and the friendly people. The water is clear and warm and the reefs are healthy in their diversity of corals and fish. The island is a true nature-lover's delight, topside with nature hikes, caves, rock climbing, bird watching and oceanside with fishing, and watersports. If you are into nature-tourism, Cayman Brac is a great option!
We face west by northwest so gorgeous sunsets on the water are in view. The house is 120feet from the water. Very secluded-Only a neighbor's rooftop about 400 feet away is barely seen. Our private road is at least 1000 feet from the main road, limiting traffic noise. We are far enough away from the airport not to hear any airline noise as well. The view of the Caribbean Sea is mesmerizing and you can walk out 100feet from shore and be only chest high. There are 2 shallow and 1 deep divesite right out our back door that a 10 minute swim (to the shallow ones) brings you to beautiful coralheads and plentiful fish. A large grocery store is located in downtown Stake Bay less than 2 miles away and the island hospital is even closer a 1/2 mile away. Centrally located, the house is within a 5-20 minute drive to everything on the island.
We had a great time last week on Cayman Brac with no problems whatsoever. It is a very interesting, safe and friendly place to relax. We have stayed at several vacation rentals over the years in many locations and must say that your house was one of the best. Thanks for making everything so easy. Great snorkeling too!!

The most comfortable, clean and convenient villa. Easy to find and an enormous amount of privacy. Soon to become our yearly villa. :)
The property was perfect. The house is right near the water which allowed us to snorkel at the property. It was wonderful to have it so close. The sunsets were beautiful off the porch. The house was perfect. It was clean with comfy beds and pillows. We were very close to stores, restaurants, and other snorkeling spots. Our mornings were filled with snorkeling while our afternoons were filled with caving. We do recommend if you want to have an excursion to Little Cayman get it booked early because there are not many charter boats available.
We had a great stay at Island Time. The house was exactly as described. The bedrooms were extremely spacious and the property very private. Unfortunately, we had strong north and northwest winds the whole time we were there so we never were able to get in the water in front of the house. In addition to four days of diving, we did several hikes and explored most of the caves on the island. We loved the restaurant at Brac Beach Resort and especially loved Barry's Golden Jerk for dinner. The Heritage House was also a nice place to stop and learn more about the history of the island. We all definitely hope to be "Brac" someday!
The view was fantastic. So enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the morning. The furnishings were very comfortable and the home nicely decorated. The location was great. If you ever decide to put it on the market, let us know!
Island time is truly a beautiful place!
We had 6 adults & one baby & it was plenty of room. The house was immaculate & the location was breathtaking! Definitely a vacation destination to visit again!
We all had a great time despite the cloudy weather. Fortunately it only rained briefly early one morning so our daytime plans were not hampered. Your house is really just great and you are so thoughtful about provisioning and in your Information Booklet. We would certainly recommend Island Time to our friends. While there we did get to do some hikes, visit the Museum and ate dinner at the Star Restaurant…twice (Monday and Wed). We planned to eat at the Captain’s Table on Wed and drove by early in the day to see if they were open and their sign said that they were open on Wed’s but when went back later, there was a sign on the door that said they were closed for the day so we headed back to the Star Restaurant. We decided that we needed to call ahead which we did on Friday. When we got there, they told us the power had gone out about 10 minutes ago and after some discussion, the conclusion reached by several of the people in the bar area was that the power was usually out from 1-3 hours so we decided to get some jerk from Barry and eat in which we did. The power was out about 1-1/2 hrs so it was good we didn’t wait around. Life on island time…you just need to go with the flow which we did!
