An exclusive, newly refurbished 5-bedroom townhouse in South West London.
Hi there! We are Iliya and Dmitry - two brothers who would be delighted to welcome you to our stunning house! We are currently travelling and exploring the world, so Maria is helping to manage the property. She will be the one to respond to you, meet you and look after you during your stay. Barnes is a lovely part of London - minutes away from the city centre, yet it feels as though you're in the countryside. Wake up to the singing of birds and the smell of fresh-cut grass, before crossing Hammersmith Bridge to immerse yourself in the bustle of the one of London's best-kept secrets! We are passionate about hospitality, and manage a number of real estate properties in London. We have access to some great houses, but take our advice: few are better than this one! You will be staying in a gated, secure development, with a private leisure centre (gym, heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna & steam room), meeting room, recreational areas, and stunning views of the Thames. The house itself is one of a limited few, with a private garden and roof terrace, as well as numerous balconies. It has just been refurbished and is simply incomparable to any of the other houses around. about the house and back to us! We grew up together, and enjoy playing tennis, watching football, travelling, going out with friends, exploring all that London has to offer, and, of course, spending time with family. For us, the most exciting thing about about VRBO is meeting people from all corners of the world. Ultimately, our aim is to provide you with a memorable experience - if you're happy, then so are we! We look forward to welcoming you in London. Meanwhile, please get in touch: we love hearing from our guests, and will be happy to advise you in any way we can!

Great place to stay with a large group
This is the second time we have stayed at this townhouse. The house was just as I remembered, but with many improvements. Beds were new and more comfortable and the kitchen was better equipped. Jennifer was easy to deal with and very helpful. The neighbourhood is very quiet and located near the river which is great if you enjoy walking and watching the rowers go by. The only thing to keep in mind is that the house is on many levels with one bedroom on the main floor, a double room on the first floor, two more bedrooms on the second floor, and another room on the top floor. If anyone has mobility issues, this is certainly something to keep in mind. It was fine for our group although my 78 year-old mother didn't venture much beyond the first floor. Also, keep in mind that the Hammersmith Bridge will be out of commission to cars and buses for the next few years which means you must walk approx. 15-20 mins to get to the tube station. That said, if you are interested in seeing the sights out of town (Windsor Castle, Kew Gardens, shopping in Richmond) it is perfectly located.
It was a treat for our son's early 16th birthday present.
The property needs sprucing up now although clean but some places colud do with a new lick of paint. Although some areas especially downstairs there are many personal effects of the owners which we thought should not be on show. We spent a lot of money on travel expenses to central London and because Hammersmith bridge was closed we ended up being charged more for transport into London.
Overall it was a pleasant stay. Our son and his friends loved the house and they enjoyed the gym , the swimming pool and the sauna.
Thanks for the review and I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and made use of the leisure facilities - the gym and steam room were recently renovated, so glad you made the most of them! The house was freshly repainted after your stay together with the new beds that were put in (it doesn’t help that when taking their bags up the stairs, guests typically hit the walls and leave marks!). There are practically no personal possessions in the home, hence I am surprised to hear that, but I shall of course personally investigate . I agree that the bridge closure for cars is annoying, but luckily the access to the station is all still open for pedestrians (12-15 mins from the house as you know) and cyclists (did you use the Lime electric bikes?). If you do prefer to travel around in taxis, instead of using the excellent London transport network, then please do let the always on-call property manager Jennifer know and she can organise your taxis with our significantly preferential rates! I wish you had asked her when she was helping sort the groceries out for your arrival!
Glad to hear that your son appreciated the present and hope to welcome you back in the refreshed property!
10 St Edmunds Square. sept 2019
Needs some tlc. Curtains non existent or poor condition. No working smoke alarm in kitchen (unit without batteries & outside cover). Squint headboards (amongst other things) & mattresses longer than their bases. Beds not made up properly. Quilts in bedroom on 2nd landing are EXACT size of bed top so couldn’t have 2 people in them. Frayed bedding & pillows past their sell by date. Cobwebs in bedrooms. Many empty water bottles just thrown away in back garden which made it untidy. Joints on kitchen table just full of food. Broken glass in bottom of fridge. Only 4 tumblers for house that sleeps 10 people & one max size wine glass!! No Sky tv so only about 7 channels. Couldn’t get TV in upstairs lounge to work so never used the room. Not told that Hammersmith Bridge closed for foreseeable future so difficult to get across river from north. Security of estate really good. Proximity to Thames 50 m. Pool etc fab. Will be watching with interest to see if this is printed !
Thank you for choosing to stay with us and taking the time to leave a review. We take all feedback seriously and strive to improve to ensure future experiences live up to our highly set standards. I’m sorry to hear that the house did not meet the 5* level that we strive to achieve. Following your feedback, we have now put brand new beds in, as that is the most important part of the house for a stay and we want them to be comfortable for all our guests! Moreover, we take cleaning very seriously as I know from my own travels that it’s critical. The team is typically very good, but I have passed on your feedback to them. It did not help that there was an unfavourable stay before you joined us, which resulted in an excessive job for them and a lot of damage, but that should not be an excuse. We wish you would have brought up some of the comments to Jennifer during your stay during your communications - as you know she is on-call 24/7 and seeks to act as the guest’s concierge. She would have helped you get the TV working - be it the Virgin cable or the Netflix, as well as been able to resolve the majority of issues… all be it except the re-opening of Hammersmith Bridge for cars, which was a surprise to everyone! We hope you give us another chance when you’re back in London, so that you can truly enjoy your stay with us like the majority of our guests. We’ll be waiting to welcome you back.
Convenient and Comfortable!
Our family of 8 (3 couples and 2 singles) had a wonderful stay at this home.
The place is conveniently situated within a 10-15 minute walk over the bridge to Hammersmith where you can catch the tube, buy groceries or visit a local pub.
There was plenty of space for all of us. The bedrooms were comfortable and getting provide some good exercise if you're fortunate enough to sleep on the top floor (which has a great view!).
The kitchen/family room area was wonderful for our whole family to sit together. We enjoyed having access to the patio as the weather was perfect while we were there.
Jennifer was very quick to respond to any questions and was kind enough to allow us to drop-off our luggage prior to check-in.
Thank you for your kind review. I'm so glad to hear you loved the house and were lucky to see some of the better London weather!! We do always strive to make your stay beyond a 5* experience and Jennifer seeks to go above and beyond - glad we achieved this! Hope to welcome you back soon :)
Harrods Village London
The house was great, plenty of space and amenities for 6 adults and 4 kids. Nice quiet neighbor close to Hammersmith metro station with direct access to all of Londons sites. Property manager Jennifer was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this property.
Thank you for your warm review. You're right - Barnes is a hidden gem of London! Great to hear you enjoyed the house. Hope to welcome you back soon :)
