With views of the main garden from the Master bedroom's bow window and the South Facing Living room; this property is a great choice for light and space. The flat is centrally heated. In terms of furnishings:- dining room table & 6/8 chairs, three seated sofa, colour television with free view + DVD player, fitted kitchen with all modern appliances (4 x hob), electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, crockery, cutlery and ironmongery, cookware. Airing cupboard with Miele washer and separate dryer, ironing board, iron and vacuum cleaner, Storage has also sets of bed linen & blanket & comforter for future guests. Besides being attractive to couples, the property is also extremely liked by young families. Why? 1. The hallway is easily large enough to accommodate a couple of strollers. 2. There is a larder which easily accommodates child seats and suitcases not cramping in on living space. 3. Greenwich Park has one of the areas largest children's playgrounds. Great location in Greenwich area.

Great location in the vibrant Greenwich area (right next to the meridian!)

All facilities are provided even the washing machine and dryer.

Very good stay for a family. The owner always listens.

Well placed for visiting London and very well connected by transport (bus, metro, DLR, ferries ...). The farthest point CANDEM MARKET was 50 minutes away.

Our stay was enjoyable for the whole family and we had time to do a lot of things in a week.

We just regret not having met the owner Julian, but his wife told us that he was very busy. Nevertheless, we thank him for his kindness and his availability.

I sometimes get a little too assailed with questions ....

We recommend this apartment for anyone wanting an authentic and relaxing stay in the British capital.

Très bel appartement à Greenwich avec tous les équipements de confort

Très bien placé dans le quartier dynamique de Greenwich (juste à coté du méridien!). Toutes les commodités sont prévues même le lave linge et le sèche linge. Très bon séjour pour une famille. Le propriétaire toujours à l'écoute.

Bien placé pour visiter Londres et très bien desservi par les transports (bus, métro, DLR, ferries...). Le point le plus éloigné CANDEM MARKET était à 50 minutes. Notre séjour était agréable pour toute la famille et nous avons eu le temps de faire beaucoup de choses en une semaine.

On regrette juste de ne pas avoir rencontré le propriètaire Julian, mais sa compagne nous a dit qu'il était très occupé. Néanmoins, nous le remercions pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. Je l'ai parfois un peu trop assailli de questions....

Nous recommandons cet appartement pour tous ceux qui veulent un séjour authentique et reposant dans la capitale britannique.

Wonderful winter stay in Greenwich

My husband, daughter and I were in Greenwich for a week in January. My husband was in London on business and my daughter and I were exploring her grad school options at the music conservatories. We wanted a place where we could all meet up and relax at the end of the day and this property was perfect. The dining/living room is very spacious. Don't let the basement concept worry you. There is plenty of light. The location near the park is perfect for walking and during the day is a nice shortcut into town and the DLR.

Nice, quiet, homey feel.

The apartment worked out wonderfully for us. The kitchen was well equipped. The key pick-up was easy. The rooms were exactly as described. The car service that was recommended, Churchill, was excellent and reasonable. The town center was a straight walk through the park and was lovely (both the park and the village). The Cuttysark and the Royal Observatory are close by. There were plenty of nice restaurants, pubs and shops in the town. I sprained my knee a few days before we arrived but taxi service was always available from town and from the DLR so I never had to walk back up the hill. Greenwich is also a site for picking up a Thames river cruise. If you're looking for a quiet place with fairly convenient public transportation, this is ideal.

Nice flat, wonderful location

This was a wonderful flat for our stay. It was a quick 10 minute walk through the Greenwich Park to the center of town, with lots of shops and restaurants. We got on the DLR to get into central London for sightseeing. We were there for our daughters graduation from Goldsmith College and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. Just a side note, if you have any physical issues, the flat is at the top of a steep hill, though the views of London were wonderful from the top of the hill. The park was a great place to walk after dinner or just hang out and picnic on the weekends.

Tolle Lage für Familien, aber etwas dunkel

Wir waren mit unseren Kindern (8 und 11 Jahre) für eine Woche in der Wohnung. Besonders genossen haben wir die tolle Lage direkt neben dem Greenich Park und der dortigen wunderschönen Aussicht über London. Gerade nach einem Trip durch die Stadt ist der Weg zurück zwar anstrengend (weil bergauf), aber immer bereichernd. Wenn es schneller gehen soll, empfiehlt sich die Zugstation Maze Hill. Die Wohnung enthält alles, was man im Urlaub benötigt und alle Geräte waren funktionstüchtig. Allerdings sind die Betten sehr durchgelegen, die Wohnung ist für deutsche Ohren sehr hellhörig und der Zahn der Zeit nagt hier und da. Schade ist, dass es in der Wohnung aufgrund des Souterrain recht dunkel ist. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden.

Nice location, very helpful agent

We stayed in the apartment for more than one week and it was a nice stay even though there were minor issues. The check-in day was Valentine's day and Friday that the traffic was deadly slow. We made the first mistake to get the key at the agent's shop instead of taking it at the apartment, which we could get rid of the traffic jam.

The apartment is a basement and there is no exit to the garden. It was a bit disappointed because it was not indicated clearly in the advertisement! The apartment has several problems: some lightings were not ON, TV was without signal, toaster and can openner was mal-functioning, cooking pan was no good, and there were some drainage problems. Jarvis came quickly and helped out everything in his best by replacement and/or worked out the solution to rectified the issues. After everything was cleared, our stay became much better. Although it is a basement, the lighting is acceptable. The location of the apartment is very close to the Greenwich Park which is really a good place for leisure. Driving down to the supermarkets took few minutes and it was very convenience. Parking outside the apartment was not an issue but I had to relocate the car to different parking bays in order to have free parking, from 9:00am to 6:30pm you can park your car in the parking bay for 2 hours before you need to relocate it. After all the apartment is good in the sense of value for money, space, location and environment.

I would recommend the owner to indicate clearly it is a basement and better to remove the garden view photo.

We are in Central London Zone 2. Greenwich/ Cutty Sark for the DLR and Greenwich North Jubilee Line For the Tube.

1. Other option to move around is with the normal boats or on the over crafts.

2. Greenwich is famous for the Time line, Royal Observatory ,the Tudor Capital of London and also the Naval Centre for most of London's history.

3. Nearest Rail Station is Maze Hill. Maze Hill is 2 minutes from our door. Once on the train it is 15 minutes to Charing Cross, the Centre.

4. The second closest rail link is the overland rail service (Called the Docklands Light Rail DLR) about a 15 minute walk across the park (It has a pretty cool view and you walk past the Royal Observatory and the Naval College). The DLR pass through Canary Wharf the new spectacular financial capital or you can change at a number of stops along the way onto the tube which whisks you in to Parliament Square in about 10 minutes.
