3BED/2 BATH updated home 9.5 miles to Beach,45min to Tampa, 90 min to Orlando
We fell in love with the Bradenton area twenty two years ago and decided to purchase this home as overflow for our other vacation property and for our families to enjoy. The proximity to Busch Gardens, Disney and the beach is what attracted us to this city. Whether you like to shop, golf, baseball with the Pirates, or enjoying local orange groves at Mixon Fruit Farms Bradenton has something to offer everyone that visits.
Rhonda purchased this House in 1996
Why Rhonda chose Bradenton
This home has it all, private backyard, community setting, centrally located, close to I-75, beaches, shopping, and close to downtown. Easy to hit the interstate and be at Prime Ellenton outlets in 10 minutes, Tampa in 45 minutes, or Orlando in 90 minutes, and the new mall at University Town Center is 10 min while IMG Academy is about 20 minutes away. This home has plenty of space for the whole family, grandchildren, 2 couples can fit comfortably and is located on a back street. The home itself is one of the best homes in this subdivision. The amenities are too many to list but the backyard oasis is one the best you will find without being directly on the beach. This home meets all of our extended families needs and there is plenty of room for the family dog to run in the backyard.
What makes this House unique
Backyard entertaining area that could easily fit 10 people for a fantastic Florida vacation. Really there is no need to go to the beach when everything you need is at this home. Rhonda very helpful and responsive.
Nice house and location. However mattress very soft in master bedroom. Master bath needs updates in sink area. Open shower needs enclosure to prevent water from spraying and excessive clean up. Tile Floor gets wet and slippery that can dangerous to walk on.
Bert, Thank you for your kind review and it was a pleasure hosting your family during your stay. We appreciate your comments and love to hear when guests enjoy our home and amenities provided. We try to provide excellent customer service and a well maintained home that is exactly as shown and described in our listing. Our home underwent a major renovation in 2016 that included a complete transformation of the master bath and pebble shower flooring and open shower for a more spa feel than traditional baths. I apologize you did not care for the look and feel of the bath. We do provide several non slip rugs in front of doors and bathrooms that can be easily be moved around for every guests comforts and needs. The home does have updated tile plank floors which most guests find is a very nice feature in a Florida home. As far as the soft mattress this was actually just replaced due to guests complaints previously as we try our best to make all guests feel comfortable, You are welcome back anytime.
Quiet neighborhood and close to shopping.
The pool is fantastic and master bedroom, master bathroom was huge and very nice. The living room was also nice. The grill was clean and worked great. The negatives are the area rugs needed a cleaning. The blinds in the master bedroom were missing slats, the blinds in all rooms but one did not work properly, there was a door in the guest bathroom that lead outside to the pool that had a curtain instead of a blind so you couldn’t really use it. The dishwasher had rollers on the pullout that were broken. There were other things that needed the owners attention.
E. Thank you for your 4 star review. It was a pleasure hosting you and your extended family for your vacation and glad you enjoyed the pool and all amenities provided at the home.
Perfect winter getaway!!
We stayed for 12 nights in January. The house was spacious and comfortable, and the community was quiet and safe.
The heated pool and large backyard seating area made for a perfect location to relax outside when the weather was nice. On cooler days the house was nicely located for trips to nearby shopping.
We used the kitchen and the grill for meals at the house and also sampled some of the many local restaurants.
Rhonda was a great host. She was very responsive to any questions we had about the property and the Bradenton area.
We hope to stay here again!!
Nice house, peaceful location, disappointing treatment from property manager
We rented the property for about two weeks during Christmas and New Years time.
Few days before our arrival she asked me if we will use the pool and if we wanted it to be heated for extra charge...after checking the weather I decided that we do not need to spend extra money for the heated pool since it was supposed to be 80s during the time of our stay and we didnt know how often we will use it.
When we arrived at the house, everything was nice, clean and without problems (which I let Rhonda know). In the meantime the fridge started to leak, the sink in the common bathroom was clogged, light in the laundry room was not working, mattresses in the bedrooms were way too soft and the cabinet door in the master bathroom was broken... those are the things that I mention to Rhonda but it didnt bother me much and I told her to fix it when I leave.
The bigger problems started few days before our departure time. First, I received voicemail from Rhonda complaining that there are rusting stains in the pool and that we must have left something metal in the water. I explained to her that we literally used pool twice by that time and nobody had anything metal in there.
Few minutes later, she texts me that there is the dog at the house and that we did not get the permission to have the dog with us. It already made me upset because we only look at the houses that are pet friendly and I was sure that arrangements were made.. anyways we paid extra pet fee right away.
Few weeks after our vacation Rhonda emails me with false accusations that:
1. we had broken the pool heater locked mechanical boxpool (which I dont even know what is or even where it is located, if wanted to have the heat in the pool i would pay for it.)
2. the pool had two huge rust stains at the bottom by something that we left in the pool causing the metal to stain the bottom of the pool (again, this is insane accusation because we almost didnt use pool).
3. Also after our departure five piles of dog feces on the premises that was not cleaned up by guests upon departure.( we cleaned after the dog and we could have missed something but it should not be too much of the big deal)
I just wanted to make everyone aware that Rhonda is trying to make as much money on her property as possible regardless if her claims are ridiculous and false. She clearly has no idea how to run her business. She says she has proof that I made the damages, which is insane.
As the Owner of my home I strive for 5 stars with every guest as evidenced by my more than 400 positive reviews. I very rarely have a negative review and if so, they are usually retaliation reviews simply because the guests did damage to my home and the deposit was kept in order to pay for those damages. We maintain our homes with very high standards and give excellent customer service to every guests. Guests can always feel comfortable that we will respond immediately and take care of any concerns they have during their stay. For future guests it is important to note prior to arrival a timed/dated video check in is done to show the state of the home as well as document things for protection not only for myself but as well as the guests. Such video was done the day of this guest arrival as well as video showing lock being put on the heater for the pool. The guest chose not to pay for the heat and instead break off the lock and spikes in the electrical bill of daily usage suggests pool heater was in fact turned on. Sworn documentation was provided by pool company stating pool box was locked and the following week the lock and been broken into and was ripped off. The pool company we use has a fantastic reputation and as part of their job they send before and after pics every time the pool is cleaned. Documented pics show on Dec 27 pool was clear and looked great however on Jan 3rd pool had two new rust stains due to several hair bobby pins left at the bottom of pool. This could have only been caused by the guest currently staying in the home. Any time a damage deposit is kept valid proof, dates, times, receipts of repairs and documents are provided. It is unfortunate that the guest did damage to our home and we had to keep the deposit for repairs. We run our business with integrity and have maintained a very successful vacation business for over 6 years as evidenced by our hundreds of 5* reviews and repeat guests. The quality, care and attention to detail we put in our homes and with our guests are proof of our excellent reputation.
Perfect Vacation House
My family (including in-laws) stayed at this property over Thanksgiving. The house was in a great location allowing easy access to the I-75 and Hwy. 64. The house was well equipped and perfect for cooking and hosting local family. The biggest hit was the heated pool as my kids couldn't get enough of it. Rhonda was very friendly and responsive to all our needs. We would definitely stay at this property again.
