Built in 2007 this southern facing - all day sun - penthouse type apartment with fantastic sea views is located in the village of Seget Donji near Trogir. With very modern furnishing and fittings this cleverly designed spacious property is an ideal holiday retreat. The design provides for, in addition to a main bedroom, two large gallery bedrooms. Hours can be spent on the large balcony enjoying watching the maritime world pass by. The apartment is part of a complex of six independent ones - of course each having its own private access etc. A five minute walk takes you to the 'Lungomare' - a 4km long seaside pavement which runs between Seget Donji and the Medena Hotel complex; with all its water sports and other activities
The property is an easy 10 minute drive from Split Airport - for those not wishing to hire a car arrangements can be made to collect/deliver from/to the airport.
Getting to the Dalmatian Coast: Split Airport - a 10 minute drive from the apartment - is exceptionally well served with flights, including 'low cost carriers', from/to the UK. Options include; Croatia Airlines (Heathrow and Gatwick), Easyjet (Gatwick and Bristol), FlyBe (Southampton & Birmingham), Jet2 (Newcastle). Also Ryanair (Stansted and Dublin to Zadar (40 min from apartment)). Wizzair also fly from Luton to Zagreb (2.5hrs from apartment). Car hire is easily arranged; there are a number of internationally recognized companies at Split, Zadar and Zagreb Airports.
The Dalmatian coast is well serviced by ferries to/from Italy into Split. Croatia is very proud of its investment in its highways. The newly opened A1 motorway, a wonder of modern engineering and a beautiful journey, has a junction just 15km from the apartment. Thus the adventurous with time or those averse to flying can now drive across mainland Europe's motorways; right to Trogir's doorstep.
We had a fabulous time. The apartment was absolutely wonderful, and I can't think of a single
thing that you haven't provided for. Murray made the airport transfers stress-free which was great. Lorraine Timms, London
Had a fantastic holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Apartment Croeso! You have done a wonderful job. We all fell in love with Trogir too - the town is just so full of character. It was most definitely a holiday we will remember and recommend to friends. Rebecca Cleaver, London.
Many thanks for allowing us to stay in your lovely apartment. We had a wonderful holiday and will recommend it to others. Magdalena Gorka, Los Angeles.
The apartment was lovely, spotlessly clean and light and airy. I think you provided for just about everything. Loved Trogir and the old worlde charm, as well as Split old town. Wendy Reed, Surrey
Really appreciated all the info before we arrived and found the website useful too. Our stay in Croatia: -Wonderful. Sue Rees, CI.
Thank you for an amazing holiday.
The apartment was a brilliant base and surpassed all our expectations. It was clean, homely and very well equipped. The owners arranged transfers for us which were easy and the lady was excellent at recommendations.
Trogir was best travelled to by the boats which were really frequent but the downside was the road through the village lacked pavements - it was easy to deviate via coastal paths once you'd found the paths down.
Don't be put off by the steps as the view from the top is worth the effort but they do make the thighs work hard!
Property is just as the photo's show. Spottlessly clean and with excellent views.
There was plenty space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Owners had paid particular attention to equip the kitchen with everything needed and in addition to that left good information to help visitors with the appartment and surrounding location.
Property was in easy walking distance to good restaurants and beaches.
The management team in Croatia were perfectly on time when we arrived and left.
This apartment in Seget Donji, near Trogir, Croatia was a real find. The apartment is on the top floor of a small block of units. The first thing to strike you is the amazing view from the balcony over the Croatian coastline, where a glass of wine in the evening was a lovely experience. The apartment was beautifully and tastefully furnished, and lacked for nothing. Our three children loved the apartment as much as we did.
The world heritage listed town of Trogir was readily accessible by road and by a small ferry across the road from the apartment. There were many attractions nearby, including the city of Split.
The manager of the property greeted us at the start of the stay and was readily available for any issues that arose.
We loved our stay at this apartment and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it highly.
Forget the car and stroll or use the (sometimes scary) water taxis.
Lovely, well maintained apartment, lots of room and facilities - a real home from home.
Trogir is lovely (although its not quite as easy a walk as you might think) you do have to cross a busy road to get to the beach, but thats not a huge problem.
The only other thing is that this is at the top of a very long flight of steps from the car parking - again not a problem to many but could be
We had a wonderful holiday in Croatia and apartment Croeso totally lived up to our expectations. The apartment was immaculate and extremely well equipped. The welcome pack was a delightful extra touch that made our late arrival all the more comfortable. Yes, there were a lot of stairs to the apartment but you were rewarded with amazing views from the balcony. Our 4 year old son thoroughly enjoyed the facilities at the Medena hotel complex just along the beach and the water taxi to Trogir was a delight. Overall we would thoroughly recommend a stay at apartment Croeso.
We have just returned from a 2 week stay in this apartment and got to say that both the apartment and location surpassed our high expectations. Sitting out on the balcony overlooking the sea is just amazing and very relaxing. The apartment is a great size and very modern with all the amenities you can think of.
Trogir is a 30min walk down the road (although easy parking as well if want to drive), but you need a good walk back after eating all the Italian ice cream in the stunning town. The stairs up the apartment are a little daunting at first but you soon get used to them and the views make it well worth it.
Overall, this apartment is a great place to stay and close to many stunning places to visit (Krka NP, Trogir, Split etc...). Keith and Slava also do everything to ensure getting to the apartment and your stay is as smooth as possible... which was much appreciated as we travelled with a baby. Croatia is certainly family friendly and we will certainly be back.
Seget Donji is a traditional Croatian working fishing village which adjoins Trogir. It is also known as the 'Middle of Adriatic' because of its geographical position - exactly in the middle of coastline of the Adriatic Sea. Of course, the apartment is also in an excellent location for taking trips to Trogir (a UNESCO World Heritage site), Krka waterfalls, Historical Split (which also enjoys UNESCO World Heritage status), the Old Town of Sibenik and the island of Brac etc. Or, just enjoy the delights of relaxing by or swimming in the Adriatic (the area has 'Blue Flag' status - during peak times the specified safe swimming areas have life-guards in attendance).
Other Activities: white water rafting, 4x4 adventure days.
