Townhome, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 8-10)

Our townhouse is situated close to the end of Butler Avenue and is located in a quieter and more family-friendly area that offers easy beach access with no roads to cross. We think our location makes our home one of the best places to stay while you’re on the island. Within two or three minutes of stepping out the front door, you can be dipping your toes in the ocean, exploring the marsh side of the island or fishing from the back river pier. A five minute walk will take you to the shops in “downtown” Tybee, the Pier or one of a number of bars and restaurants located on the beach front and Tybrisa.

The home itself has 2 floors and is accessible via an elevator located in the parking garage under the building. It can comfortably sleep 8-10 and is laid out as follows:

On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms along with a modern kitchen and dining area.

• Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed with TV & a private bathroom.

• Bedroom 2 is a great room for kids and has 2 twin beds and its own TV

• Bedroom 3 is off the living room with a very comfortable queen size futon.

The first floor also has a wrap-around porch that’s a perfect place to sit at the end of a long day at the beach, as well as a comfortable sofa and armchair to watch TV.

The master suite is located on the second floor and offers 2 queen beds, a full bath, a washer and dryer and also provides access to two decks with a fantastic view of the back river. Definitely the perfect place for a quiet escape!

Our townhome provides covered parking for 2 cars with room for an additional 1-2 vehicles. Complementary WiFi is also available.

Everything you need to a great beach trip

This house was exactly what we were looking for - close to the beach, more space than expected, has everything needed for a relaxing weekend. We were easily able to fit 10 people and not feel cramped, and had space to park 4 cars, which was great. Particularly impressed with the speed of the owner's responses to my questions before the trip.

Wonderful Trip - Great Place to Stay

The townhome was beautiful and the location can't be beaten by any other property on Tybee. Incredibly close to everything that's going on in Tybee - the beach is a short walk (maybe 100 yards) and the shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife are just a 5 minute stroll. With that said, please don't think that the property is located in a noisy/busy area because it's not. In fact, quite the opposite. Despite the fact that we were there during a busy period, it was wonderfully quiet in the evenings and we loved sitting on the deck and enjoyed watching the sunset over the back river.

As far as the accommodations are concerned, we had 10 in our party and still didn't feel cramped because there's ample beds for everyone. Without doubt, I would highly recommend this place to anyone and Tybee is a great place to unwind with your family and friends.

Nice Place with an Awesome Location

This was a beautiful place to spend a long weekend with my family. All ages had everything they needed, and the elevator from the lower floor was a huge convenience for the older members of our party. The townhouse is situated in a great location, and the view is better than described, being on the third and fourth levels of the condominium. We found the owners to extremely accommodating, and all the facilities were complete as described in the listing. The townhome has nice screened windows along with excellent air conditioning.

Here are some other things we think it's worth pointing out:

* It's located just a block from the beach and was an easy walk for everyone in our party

* Only 3 blocks from shopping and 9 blocks from grocery.

Overall, have to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation recommending this to others.

Fun place near the beach and restaurants!

We had 8 girls staying for Labor Day weekend. We loved how close we were to the beach and tybee island life! Clean and spacious! Would definitely recommend this place!

Great, but not luxe

The condo is in a great location. We loved being able to walk to everything. On arrival it was clean , however a load of dishes still in the dishwasher was quite stinky. We rewashed them only to find that the dishwasher detergent tray doesn't open so no soap comes out. We bought some powdered detergent to try rather than the pods - which tend to be sticky. Worked fine. Linens and towels and pillows were scratchy and worn. Expected a bit nicer for the price of this rental. We did have to buy toilet paper right away. There was 1/2 roll in each bathroom, but no extras. Kitchen was pretty well appointed, but we would have loved a liquid measuring device. The deck is fantastic for sitting in the evening. It was as advertised and beds were cozy, if a bit scratchy.

The location of this home is amazing only walking distance from the beach . Very cute and well put together, Overall we enjoyed our stay up until check out in the morning . 2 cleaning ladies came in right at 10am one of them

In particular was beyond rude and disrepectful! She said our time was up and we had to get out she was upset that she had to clean and stated that we ''trashed'' the house [mind you we treated the property with respect] when in reality nothing was destroyed yes there was some sand here and there and we didn't take all the trash out but there is a cleaning feed that was paid for a reason it's not our job to leave it spotless . What really just took me over board was the fact that the house keeper pushed one of my friends out of the house. I contacted the owner and she sided with the housekeeper no apologies where made DO NOT STAY HERE They don't care about the tenants occupying their property.

Owner's Response: I am pleased that this group found the unit “very cute and put together”, however I am appalled that these renters have the nerve to write a bad review. First of all, they were young 20-somethings which I was not aware of when we rented to them. My policy is no renters under the age of 25, and this is exactly the reason why. Please read on: My cleaner arrived at the unit 10:30 am (check out time is 10:00 am) and had to wake my renters up as they were still drunk from the night before. The renters proceeded to be rude to my cleaner when she said she need to get started cleaning because we had new renters coming in at 4:00 pm. My cleaner actually gave then an additional 30 minutes to collect their belongings and leave. When my cleaner asked one of them why they had dumped food into the non-garbage disposal side of the sink, my renter replied with, “shut up, you are just the hired help.” At that point my cleaner called me and was rightfully very upset. She stated that there were piles and piles of garbage, bottles, and cans all over the place; the floor was covered with beer and the rack inside the refrigerator was broken (They had hidden it under the sink so she wouldn’t notice). When my cleaner asked them to leave, one of the renters threatened to fight her. They finally left and then stood in the hallway laughing, while one of the renters peed on the front door. It took 2 cleaners 8 hours to properly clean the unit and I have many pictures of the damage and the disgusting state of affair they left it in. My renter is probably upset that I have charged them for the broken refrigerator and excessive cleaning – which is exactly why I collect a damage security deposit. I did speak with the renter who tried to say they didn’t have time to take the trash out, however, since they were still asleep at the time of check out, I’m not sure when they actually planned to clean up the trash. I have had 10 years of renters who have loved the unit, were respectful and appreciative, and many come back year after year. Please do not take this one incident of rude, disrespectful, 21-year-old tenants as the truth. Word of advice to other owners, do not rent to this group or anyone under 25. It’s not worth it!
