Comfortable well stocked spacious Good location for visiting Yosemite comfortable beds. Could use a little curb appeal work. But we would rent again.
Wedding in Yosemite National Park
This Midpines rental property was perfect for our extended family of eight visiting the area for a family wedding in Yosemite National Park. The YARTS bus stop across the street was especially helpful. The accommodations in this older home were "comfy and cozy" and enjoyed by all. We appreciated having updated washer/dryer models and the kitchen was well stocked with pantry food and cooking equipment. We also enjoyed the deck and all the yard chairs. The owners responded quickly with answers to questions and offered travel advice above and beyond expectations. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Excellent lodge for a base for visiting Yosemite
Excellent communication from host, and very clear and useful instructions in the lodge in our welcome package and advice of the area.
Good kitchen facilities. Comfortable seating. Bedroom furniture and linen of a high standard.
About an hour drive to the Yosemite village / parking.
Nice looking house
I enjoyed staying in the house. It's outdated but very clean. Well maintained. Everything was provided. Some of the stuffs in the kitchen were expired so double check before using. It was actually 1 hr to the yosemite gate but the trip was awesome.
Cozy, but updated, house conveniently located
We stayed here for 3 days in August and were very happy. We didn't spend a lot of time here - mostly for dinners & sleeping - but we definitely enjoyed all the house had to offer.
The house is right across the street from the YART busline that took us to and from Yosemite. With a convenient bus schedule it made our trip in and out of the park a breeze. Keep in mind, it was about a 90 minute bus ride to Yosemite's Visitor Center, but we hopped on at 630a and were able to relax on the way in as well as relax after a long day of hiking at the day's end. And with modern buses and amazing scenery for the whole time, we didn't mind the trip at all.
A great spot and a great house that made our first trip to Yosemite very memorable.
Although it took us closer to 50 minutes to get to Arch Rock Entrance at Yosemite due to traffic, construction and a one lane highway, we enjoyed coming back to the cabin at the end of the day to relax. The drive along the Merced River was beautiful. The noise of the highway was kind of loud for sleeping, but the beds were comfortable and cozy. A full kitchen with a spice cupboard, and condiments in the fridge along with milk for tea/coffee was greatly appreciated!
