Perfect in Every Way!
This house is so authentic and charming but with every modern convenience. From a great location, to wonderful spaces, to kind hosts, it’s where we’ll stay whenever we return to New Orleans!
Great spot for a company meeting
This turned out to be the perfect spot for a 2 day company meeting. Thomas was super-helpful in making sure our internet connection and video setup worked. He helped us find places to eat in the area, and even got us the necessary office supplies we requested. The house itself is beautiful and spacious. Plenty of room for small group discussions and then everyone can come together around a large dining room table. Wonderful alternative to a boring office rental.
Great place! Wonderful history! Great location!
Everything was wonderful! Property manager is awesome! Neighbors are awesome! Location was great! You can't go wrong with this place!
I absolutely loved staying at this beautiful, beautiful house! I want to stay here every single time I come back to New Orleans. It's stunning, yet completely cozy. Super comfortable beds (with quality linens!), spacious bathrooms, and it was nice to have all the different rooms/extra space for my family. The decorating and finishes are to the nines. BONUS - there are so many TVs! One in the main living room, one in the master AND guest, and one in the master bathroom! I had the privilege of meeting the owner (Sherri) and property manager (Tommy) and both were extremely welcoming, accommodating, and kind; southern hospitality at its finest! I HIGHLY recommend this place. I was sad to leave!
Too good to be true!
We enjoyed having such a homey place to relax in the French quarter! We were so close to all our favorite locations and an Uber was only minutes away if needed! We loved the luxurious bathrooms and living spaces. Very clean and comfortable. We couldn’t believe our luck to find such a gem only 2 blocks from the French quarter!
This really is the most perfect place to stay for so many reasons. The house is absolutely beautiful, it's been sympathetically restored but has all the comforts of modern life and interesting unique artwork. Great kitchen, bathrooms, super comfortable beds, plentiful fluffy towels, everywhere was spotlessly clean, good outside space and incredibly quiet, it was difficult to believe we were a few minutes walk from Frenchman Street with all the fabulous music. It also is less than a leisurely 10 minute walk to the French market so we couldn't have been happier with the location. What made this so special for all of us was how helpful Joe and Tommy were, the loan of fishing gear, supply of fishing bait, restaurant recommendations, Joe even drove us to The House of Blues as it was a hot day to walk. If we return to New Orleans (would love to) we wouldn't look at anywhere else to stay. Only worry is if too many people realise how fabulous this is we may have trouble getting in.
Within easy walking distance of dozens of restaurants, bars, live music and history. A magnificent home, built in 1740, one of the 'Lost Creole Cottages' of New Orleans. Completely renovated and restored to it's original beauty. A spectacular location and a magical property.
