beautiful colonial house
Perfect location for a quiet weekend
We were a group of nine that fit comfortably in the house over the Thanksgiving weekend. The house had everything we needed plus more and was not far from the Utica Train station where we had plans to ride the Polar Express Train with our three kids.
Antique Country House
We had a nice weekend at the Abigail. It is a little spooky when you first enter due to the old fashioned feel of the house but there is plenty of space for a larger group of people. Certain things could use some updating but overall the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night and also the Cooperstown Beverage Trail which is nearby.
Sarah, we're glad to hear you had a pleasant stay overall. As this house was built in the 1800's it does have an old-fashioned feel to it, as we aim to reflect in the listing description and photos. This home regular receives positive feedback, and we are confident this home will continue to host satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback! Best, the Evolve Team
The house was beautiful. I had an amazing experience and was overall very happy with the house.
The house is great for groups of a lot of people. The rooms upstairs were all connected so even though we were in seperate rooms we all felt connected. I would recommend this house to anyone and would love to rent this house again!
The house was great to stay in . It was a nice drive back and forth to Cooperstown. Love the open here and all the wild life around the house.
Our 10 person family from Texas including parents, kids, and grandkids spent a wonderful week here in July visiting relatives in Upstate NY. The house was spacious enough for all, the campfire was perfect to gather around at the end of each day, and the neighbors were friendly and helpful. Our host Susan was responsive and available to answer any questions we had. We would definitely come back again.
