A beautiful Spanish retreat on the outskirts of San Javier on the Costa Calida. Whilst close to the beaches of the Mar Menor, several golf courses but just 7 kilometres from Murcia Airport, it is situated in a quiet development in a traditional Spanish town. All modern coveniences are provided for a peaceful and memorable holiday.

Ten minutes after leaving Murcia Airport you can be enjoying the start of your holiday in 'Sueños' (Spanish for 'Dreams').

This small development has a large communal pool whilst the house provides two bedrooms (one with balcony), two bathrooms and a wonderfully private roof top solarium. It is air conditioned (additional payment) with back up heating for the winter nights. There are ceiling fans in the lounge and master bedroom. Satellite TV is installed along with a CD / cassette player.

You are within a few minutes walk of local restaurants, tapas bars and supermarket. The town centre is equally close and provides a full range of shops and services. The stunning beaches of the Mar Menor are just a short drive away.

we wanted a home in spain that would be part of an established town but close to the coast and all amenities. Our house enables us to enjoy this little known region but is peaceful and part of the local community

What makes this house unique

home from home with all you need just around the corner. Close to Murcia airport but not on flight path. Very secluded solarium if you just want to enjoy the sun and chill!.Alternatively enjoy the large pool with separate children's area. Why not relax with a book on the balcony to the main bedroom

A brilliant holiday!

We have been here for two weeks and had a wonderful holiday. The house is very well equipped, washing machine is worth having as it meant we could travel light. The house has air con but even in August we didn't need it as there is a nice breeze from early evening which keeps the house cool.

It has everything you need, inc a tv with English channels for the children, although we only switched it on once..... My three just wanted to be in the pool all the time! The pool is great, baby pool, then a shallow end for bigger children. The neighbours are all really friendly and helpful, and the people who look after the house are local, and very accommodating if you need a hand with anything.

The local area has tons to see and do. Beaches are lo pagan and Santiago de la Ribiera are lovely and a five min drive. Le Zenia shopping centre is amazing, la manga strip, water parks and so much more.

We are a family of five, and the hpuse was plenty big enough. A double bedroom, twin room and the lounge has two sofa beds.

Will definitely be back!

Un año mas hemos vuelto a esta casa ya que los dueños son encantadores y te ponen todo tipo de facilidades, esta muy equipada, y el vencidario es increible, repetireos esta experiencia todos los años porque gracias al trato y la estancia la sentimos como nuestras! Es muy recomendable para familias! Del 0 al 10 le doy un 15!!!

Great house for exploring the area

Clean modern house in a quiet location. Within walking distance of shops and bars. If you want to explore then a car is good as there are lots of places to visit. Love the beach here as the sea is so warm. This was my third visit to this complex and the kids love it.

Several happy breaks

We have been returning to Suenos on and off for the last few years and have never had a bad holiday break there. The property itself is well maintained and clean; the resident next door neighbours are always helpful and stop for chats as are the other residents around the pool area. Suenos is ideally located for San Javier Airport but also only an hour from Alicante. There are many beautiful villages/beaches and markets to fill your time or just relax around the pool. If you fancy a full day out Torriveija/Alicante Castle/Murcia are a must, or pop over the mountains past Cartagena for some amazing views and amazing beaches around the area. The owners of this property have always been immensely helpful and have a local contact if you have problems. Would definately recommend to family and friends and WILL BE BACK very soon

The property is just what I require.

My father lives within the same complex; hence, the usage of this property. I know what I'm expecting when I book a property on this complex. With regards to the property itself, it was very clean and comfortable stay, with all the facilities required.

April visit so things where starting to open within San Javier and surrounding areas; obviously not as much as if I went between May and August but I knew this prior to going.

The pool was freezing but I still went in (so was the sea) but that's April for you.

One of the things that I feel is a must if going to San Javier is car rental. There are so many fantastic spots to go but to the North and South (or even inland) all within 30 minutes. Murcia itself is a must - but not with a sports shoe fixated teenager. I have seen all of the Murcia motorways on this trip just to find the Nike outlook store. Pleasantly surprised at how cheap this was.

Lo Pagon is always a favourite which I never made it to on this visit. Good fun playing in the mud.

Playa da las Mil Palmeras is a nice bit of beach on the Mediterranean 30 minutes to the North of San Javier and Los Alcázares is nice beach on Mar Menor 15 minutes to the South.

The only downside to me is because I'm from the country is the Spanish Air Force waking me up - but this is only because I forgot to open the shutters slightly so thought it was the middle of the night.

All in all - great property to which I will return

There are a variety of local restaurants and tapas bars within walking distance along with a full range of shops in the Town centre where you can also find a museum and a beautiful church in the square. Two miles out of town is the new 'Dos Mares' shopping complex with multi screen cinema and plenty of restuarants.

San Javier is famous for its annual jazz festival.

There are several golf courses within a short drive including La Manga and Villamartin

The nearest beach is at Santiago de la Ribera 2 miles from the house whilst just up the coast at Lo Pagan are the famous mud flats used by the Spanish for their healing properties. There are many many restaurants along the coast, fish dishes being a speciality of the region.

The town has a modern Sports Centre with tennis and swimming, but booking is adviseable in the summer months.
