San Antonio experience
Great location, very good property management, highly recommended
This condo, in the King William District, was located in the perfect spot for a short walk into downtown on the River Walk. We loved the neighborhood of big old stately homes, and the condo was decorated so cute. Everything was ready for our arrival, including welcome drinks and snacks. The owner was very responsive when we had a problem, and took care of it in no time. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone visiting San Antonio. NOTE: Don't park too close to street corners or you will get a parking ticket!
Fantastic Fiesta Stay!
Condo was wonderful! It was sparkling clean, very comfortable furnishings, basically everything you need, plus quite a few extras. We would definitely stay here again!
Great place, city and people
King William district is close to the River Walk and great restaurants. We loved the place we stayed and all the great homes and people in the neighborhood.
Great location, great place
Clean, well stocked and comfortable - a great choice close to the Riverwalk and downtown.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Enjoyable little apartment in the King William Historic District of San Antonio
VERY clean and lots of amenities
Owner, Duane, is easy to work with
Great security and on street parking
Comfortable bed and very workable kitchen
Scooters for rent on every street corner and within a 2 block area there are some delicious restaurants. Tito's Mexican for breakfast or dinner was very good, Madhatter was a quick breakfast stop, and Rosario's Mexican (not as good as Tito's in my book) but still worth a stop, many others also.
The quiet section of the riverwalk is just a few blocks over, and a must see if you are into architecture. Speaking of architecture-take a stroll around the neighborhood you won't be disappointed.
Alamo Plaza, Tower of the Americas, San Fernando Cathedral, and Historic Market Square are all within a 10 minute drive. The Pearl section of the riverwalk is another great place to spend some time. The Culinary Institute of America cooks up specialties daily, and Bakery Lorraine is a sweet or savory breakfast or lunch stop. On Saturday and Sunday there is a farmers market at the Pearl. While at the Pearl don't miss the lobby of Hotel Emma, and a walk along the riverwalk for views of The Grotto and F.I.S.H sculptures, both worth worthy of your time.
The Hays Street Bridge is a foot bridge that offers picturesque views of the San Antonio skyline, and down below the bridge is the Alamo Beer Company and beer garden if that interests you.
Brackenridge Park is only a 10 minute drive from the apartment, and a nice green area to hang out, ride the train or take a great hike.
Would return and also recommend.
