At last a hip finca in Villanueva de la Concepcion set in the foot hills of El Torcal national park with amazing views, fab pool and contemporary interior. Finca Chimeneas is very private and makes a perfect romantic hideaway set as it is amongst olive, almond, lemon, aloe and fig trees. The owners have managed to transform the original finca ruin into an elegant destination. Surrounded by uninterrupted views of the countryside this tranquil retreat has two double bedrooms both boasting natural mosaic tiled en-suites making them individually striking in their simplicity. They are complemented by an open living space with feature fireplace enhancing the overall romantic atmosphere. By subtly intermingling rooms and thoughtfully placing windows a real feeling of space yet intimacy and exclusive living has been created. Contemporary lines combine with rustic charm to make this a truly romantic hideaway.For those who need to work whilst away from from it all. Finca Chimeneas has WIFI.

Our nearest town is Villanueva de la Concepcion : Ski: Sierra Nevada 2 hour drive.

The stunning scenery : Mountains, caves, lakes, gorges - makes a tour through this area of Andalusia a delight, with plenty of craft shops and tapas bars to break the journey.

an air-conditioning unit is available on request, although due to the thick walls of the Finca most of the times not needed. In any case the Finca is fitted throughout with noise reduced ceiling ventilators, which deliver a nice atmosphere throughout.

Just wonderful!

We wanted a quiet relaxing week and the Finca was perfect for that. From the time of the enquiry until after the holiday Andrea was very helpful with answers and help.

The house was very well equipped, very comfortable and we loved the decor. The location is just perfect and so quiet and beautiful views to gaze at from the pool area. The countryside around the Finca is stunning.

We had some spectacular sunsets to watch while dining on the patio.

We'd love to go back one day but in meantime have the memories of a great week we spent there.

Lovely Tranquil House

Totally enjoyed our week visit to this house. Photos accurately show the rooms - we loved the decor. Kitchen was well equipped and the views from the pool were lovely. Quite enjoyable spending the day reading around the pool with the only sound being the tinkle of goats as they move across the valley. Antequera had good grocery shopping and is relatively close by. We loved our hiking morning at El Torcal (wear the proper footware!). Would recommend this house highly

Superb romantic gettaway

The quiet and tranquil place this is superb for a romantic getaway and small families. The rural area, yet centrally in the triangle Sevialla, Cordoba and Granada slows everybody down immediately. The whole area has a real laidback atmosphere Having to drive only 20 minutes to the El Toracal reserve for a spectacular view and dramatic scenery is very nice as well. The accommodation is easily reachable by 4x4 but you need a Nav system.

Wonderful Stay

We had a lovely stay at this villa, enjoying the quietness, views and watching the goats go by! The pool was a good size and was used a lot by the kids.

A big thank you to Andrea who went out of her way to help us out as we had problems with our hire car.

We would definitely recommend this villa if you want a remote quiet place to stay.

The key to a relaxing refeshing holiday

We had seen this property about on this site 4 years ago but it was always booked up. This year we got lucky and I must say that we had a really nice time. It met our holiday expectations, peace and quiet with good views and lots of sun with a very nice pool, perfectly.

It is, as stated, remote and away from it all so don’t expect anything but that. Having said that, it is an easy drive to find a shop for provisions. It is also worth a relatively short drive through the picturesque country side to the historic town of Antequera, for a choice of larger supermarkets and a selection of restaurants.

It is the perfect place for a 4 book holiday with a good supply of factor 30 to enable you to make the most of relaxed outside dining before a perfect nights undisturbed sleep.

The perfect getaway

Fantastic property, location and views right at end of country track, so no passing vehicles - the only noise being the goats and goat-herd coming over the hills in the evening!

Spent lazy days in the beautiful garden and pool, and lazy nights dining al-fresco and making use of the bbq.

Internally the property is cool and relaxing, with chill-out sitting room, lovely en-suite bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen - everything you could need.

Visited local towns/hamlets, would especially recommend Antequera, a traditional Andalusian town with Moorish fortress, lots of churches and good places to eat/drink - on the outskirts there is also a large mall/supermarket with great selection of seafood and fruit and veg.

Also visited Malaga and stayed overnight - really impressed and would visit again.

Overall, the perfect location for a relaxing holiday and we plan to return again soon.

A good base for those wishing to visit the historic cities of Andalucia as it is centrally located for easy access to Seville, Granada and Cordoba. Our nearest towns are Villanueva de la Concepcion & Almogia, typical Andalucian 'pueblos'
