Why Yasmin, Birds Creek Campground - an Airstream Resort chose Pigeon Forge
Bird’s Creek Campground provides accommodations for Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and guests of the Smoky Mountains National Park. We are located just 7 miles from Gatlinburg Tennessee and 7 miles from Pigeon Forge Tennessee making access to these two great destinations and the Smoky Mountains National Park a breeze. Local tip: Birds Creek Campground is located on a road which provides quick access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge without enduring the traffic of the Parkway in Pigeon Forge and the “Spur” to Gatlinburg. Great trip, terrific people and a wonderful location.
We loved the airstream and the proper managers were fantastic! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to be outside but still close to everything.
When we got there (after checkin time) the place had not been cleaned (pile of towels on the floor and beds not made). The manager was responsive but it took a while to get it taken care of since they thought it had been cleaned and asked a local to come over and verify it wasn’t clean. We had planned to cook and eat in since it already had been a long day. However, we had to leave for a few hours and go out to eat to give them time to clean. Also, the camper is on sewer but it was turned off for some reason so shower backed up the second day. We have had a camper so figured out what the problem was and rectified. Regardless, I give it a good rating because it was clean and is just as pictures show. Location is close to Glade Road artisans and Gatlinburg, which was great. Weather was perfect and was good camping trip without having to haul and setup a camper.
Thank you Marla for the 4 star review. We are glad to hear you had a good camping trip and you thought the pictures and air stream was as described. We are very sorry for the issue where the air stream was not clean upon your arrival. We did have a mix up that day and worked very hard to correct that immediately, even refunding some money to pay for your dinner out that night. As you are aware we were very proactive during your stay and would have sent maintenance to correct the sewer issue as well. However, glad you could also correct so it was a speedy fix. Thank you again and hope you would consider staying with us again in the future.
We had a great time. Very peaceful. We will definitely be back!
A Fun Adventure
This was our first time in an RV! It was definitely an adventure with 2 little boys! They were so excited and thought it was so cool. It was a very safe environment for them, inside and outside. We stayed close by when they were by the creek, but they loved throwing rocks in the water and splashing around in their water shoes. It was a little bit of a challenge getting them washed in the little shower with the curtain, but we succeeded without getting water in the floor. The shower was probably the only challenge we encountered. It’s definitely small! It was hard being 5’7, and my husband at 5’9. We are both thin builds. We made it work though! 😂 We had a great time and highly recommend giving the Airstream life a chance for at least a few days! Great property managers and very friendly neighbors ❤️
We had a great time and made a new friend in our neighborhood handyman Dave! He was great fixing a few things we needed and we look forward to coming back. We have the Airstream fever!!
Great time! So much to so and see
everything was great! would definitely recommend and would go back!
