Loved it. Clean, quintessential beach decor, uncluttered, and a block from the ocean.

This home is part of a small apartment/condo complex. When you come to the beach you really just need a good shower and bed to sleep in at night- the days are in the sand. This home delivers just that. Quiet, clean, uncluttered, homey. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy condo

  • 3 of 5

When we pulled up to the condo development it was not quite what we were expecting of a "beach condo". However we were glad to see that the unit itself was in nice shape and was cozily decorated. On the positives, it is a very short walk to the boardwalk as well as to many shops and restaurants. Other positives include TV's in both bedrooms and all the necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, pots/pans, etc.) were provided. The biggest drawback for me besides the outside appearance of the condos was that traffic can be a little noisy. There is a fan provided in the closet that did help mask some of the noise. Unless you are a light sleeper like myself, this may not be a problem for you though. It was also nice that there is a designated parking place so you do not have to pay for parking as you may at some hotels.

Chose this home as a surprise visit to Virginia Beach during Thanksgiving week since my sailor was unable to come home for the holiday. The house was perfect for our family of 4 children and 2 adults. The kids loved having space to play and being able to enjoy a real Thanksgiving with their dad. The house had everything we needed and made preparing thanksgiving dinner a breeze. The weather was gloomy and cold so we spent most of the time in the condo and the kids didn't complain at all. I would definitely rent this home again for future stays. Thanks for opening your home to my family and helping make our holiday special.

Decent but dirty

  • 3 of 5

We had to sweep the entire condo upon arrival and the ceiling fans had dust caked on them. Other than that, we had a great stay, enough room for us and our 3 kids (with the fold out cot). It was great having a full kitchen to make a few meal and not have to go to a restaurant for every meal, especially breakfast. The location is fantastic, very close to everything you'd want to do in Virginia Beach.

Best vacation ever

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It is very convenient to shops and just a block from the beach. It has been recently updated, with paint and new furniture. Upon entering it looked clean and smelled clean. The only problem we had the whole time was a rude neighbor who used some foul language when my husband was trying to helped him get backed in.
