My fiancé and I stayed at this home for 3 months while we were in between moves and finding a home of our own. It was fabulous! The rental home came with everything we needed, you could essentially just bring clothes and be all set to go! We found the beds and furniture very comfortable and quaint. It was steps away from a great park, beach, and boat launch which we enjoyed! It is also a very close distance to Traverse City and the surrounding areas which made exploring easy and fun! To top it off, the owner Jeff, stayed in communication with us to ensure we always had everything we needed and that our stay was perfect!
We loved our stay at the cottage ... You are mere steps away from a public beach right on the grand traverse bay... It is a quiet beach with very few people and allows dogs, which was a huge plus for us. The house itself is close to TC, and we enjoyed a wine tour of old mission and dinners downtown. The house is well cared for with many updates. My only complaint, if you can even call it that, is that the furniture and beds were not very comfortable. We did two nights in the full size bed, and then my husband and I each took a twin bed, which were a little easier on our backs. Great stay overall! I would recommend this cabin for your Traverse City stay!
This 2 bedroom/2bath home in the woods is an easy walk, bike ride or drive to a nice public park with beach access and a boat landing on East Grand Traverse Bay. The beach offers great swimming and beautiful sunsets. The park has play equipment for children and picnic tables. The home is very well maintained, nicely appointed and well equipped for cooking in or grilling out. The view from the house is of the woods. Close to Elk Rapids and Traverse City, yet a private haven away from the crowds and traffic. We rented this home and another on the beach for our family vacation and had a terrific week.
