About the property

2 Bedroom, 2 Baths, 4 Sleeps

This property is an old world hacienda with lots of outdoor living space in a laid back, resort-like setting. We are located in the historic north end of Yuma, Arizona, about a mile from Old Town. Perfect for a relaxing get away, yet minutes from shopping, golf, and Mexico. The guest-suite consists of two bedrooms that sleep 4. The rooms are detached from the main house and have private entrances. The rooms share one bath; however, there is an additional pool-side bathroom complete with shower. The suite opens out towards the courtyard, pool, and beautiful grounds. A small efficiency kitchenette is located inside the game-room, which is a few feet away from the guest rooms.

Charming Accommodations

  • 5 of 5

Comfy, clean and absolutely charming place to stay when visiting Yuma. Renee and Dan are splendid hosts, always greeting you with a smile and making great suggestions about things to do and see around Yuma. The yard is so serene and secluded and beautifully landscaped, you would never know you were located downtown Yuma. The king beds were like sleeping on clouds...... I would definitely return.

Don't even THINK about staying anywhere else!

Hubby and I had to be in Yuma over 8 days, for dental work in nearby Los Algadones, Mexico. We were not looking forward to it. Decided to take a chance on VRBO rather than stay in a hotel... and we are so very happy we did! We cannot say enough good things about this rental. The guest suite we had, and all the facilities at this haicienda-style ranch house were incredibly homey, fun and comfortable. Truly an "oasis in the desert," as others have commented. Beautiful private yard, with a picturesque pool, cool artwork, and thoughtful landscaping. Bedroom had luxury bedding and was perfectly air conditioned, with Apple TV. Fun game room had pool table and outdoor stereo, and we had a kitchen and "tiki bar" area with indoor grill, microwave and fridge to use to make coffee or meals. Hosts Renee and Dan were very pleasant and accommodating, while allowing us our privacy. We could not have asked or wished for more, and we were able to really relax and have fun, despite having to be in town for medical reasons. This would also be a great place for a few couples or a family to hang out in to spend quality time. (Give little dog Loki a pat on the head for us!)
