Wonderful place!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I, along with our 18 year old daughter and her friend stayed here from Saturday thru Wednesday.

We had plenty of space so that we never felt like we were getting in each others way.

The entire place was absolutely spotless!

Very modern, but cozy. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of hangers, towels, extra pillows, and blankets.

My husband and I spent most of our time at Acadia--which is a quick drive away. The girls liked that it was so close to town that they could walk back and forth several times each day.

The shore path is right at the end of the road (not very far) and was great in the day and the evening (bring a flashlight because it isn't lit).

We would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

We stayed here for 6 nights in September. It's hard to say anything that hasn't already been said in all the other reviews! The condo is immaculate and very nicely decorated and furnished. It's location is absolutely perfect, walking distance to everything within Bar Harbor and a short drive to the park. We did not bring our dogs but it's nice to know we'll have that option when we return and we will definitely be returning!

Great Condo! Great location!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this condo for a week with another couple. It was perfect! Even nicer than the pictures. Greg was so good with communicating from the day I booked through checking out. The beds were very comfortable. One room has 2 twin beds and a futon. My husband and I stayed in that room and slept in the twin beds. It was strange at first, we felt like Laura and Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dike show)- I know I'm dating myself on that one! Each bedroom had it's own full bathroom, which is a must for us. Plus there is a half bath on the main floor. Washer and dryer were definitely a plus. Nice living room area, and kitchen. Room air conditioners were nice, we only needed them one night. We LOVED the front porch. We sat out there every morning having our coffee. Kind of small for 4 people, but we made it work. Beautiful landscaping in the front, we got lots of compliments from people walking by. Location could not be better. The Shore Path is at the end of our street, we walked it every day. Love the Shore Path views! So nice to walk to dinner every night and not have to worry about parking. Acadia National Park is about 10 minute drive, it was great being so close. We had a wonderful stay and a wonderful week in Bar Harbor. I will not even think about staying anywhere else when we return!

Excellent location and accommodation

  • 5 of 5

We were thoroughly pleased with both the location and comfort of this condo. Once we arrived, we rarely had to use our vehicle for transportation, as we walked and biked almost everywhere. The condo has AC units, making it comfortable for those few hot summer nights. As my husband and I are avid cooks, we found the kitchen to be lovely although lacking a few basics. I notified the owner and he seemed appreciative. But this didn't stop us from using the kitchen and cooking breakfasts and some dinners.

I highly recommend staying in this condo.

Great Location in Bar Harbor

  • 5 of 5

First time at Bar Harbor with my wife and our two daughters. What a great experience. The Wayman House was a very clean well maintained condo with lots of room. Great location and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the down town area. Short drive to the Acadia Nat. Park and many hiking trails close by. Highly recommend!
