BOTH DUPLEX UNITS - CASA 36 & 37 FEATURE THE FOLLOWING:

Master upstairs bedroom complete with Jacuzzi, shower, double sinks, king bed and walk-in closet with balcony and grand vista of the Caribbean. Also flat screen TV - Air Conditioned!

Lower three quest bedrooms feature queen beds and each with private bathroom and shower. Air conditioned!

Large open Modern kitchen, dinning room and living room with bar style counter with 4 seats, and seating another 8 persons in dinning room. Kitchen fully equipped.

Living room has satellite TV with Large screen Plasma and DVD Player . Comfortable seating for Many guests with sliding glass door for view and access to the huge free form pool with both children's and adult areas. Air Conditioned!

Ample parking space for automobiles. Casa 37 the large garage is available for use. Casa 36 the owners retain for maintenance items for the properties.

A Large BBQ with Propane gas is provided. Refills can be obtained at Maria Chiquita only a few miles away if needed.

Owners have a local couple see to maintenance and problem issues and will provide details and contact information upon check-in

This property id newer construction in a gated walled community with paved streets and ocean front homes. Security and peace of mind when staying here. Situated along the Carribean (Atlantic Ocean) with mountain and ocean views. Only minutes from historic Portobelo and its Spanish fortress ruins. a little further down the coast is Isla Grande a popular resort island. Many small restaurants dot the coast highway which has mountains on one side and ocean coast on the other side. Lots to do seeing the Panama Canal and shopping n the Free Zone the second largest in the world. Many good deals there!

Get Far Away From It All!

My small party (myself, my husband, our friend & our 14 yr old son) stayed in Casa #37 for 3 nights during President's Week while exploring the area. The home is VERY spacious, well-equipped, a short drive to Portobelo and close to many recreational activities. It's perfect for those who want to be as close to the ocean as humanly possibly and surrounded by natural beauty. Bob & Maria were enthusiastic, responsive & hospitable hosts (they happened to be in casa #36 at the same time): they hooked us up with everything from local guides to a neighbor's pool (theirs was out of commission) to ketchup when we forgot to buy some for our dinner! Be sure to check before you book (and before you go) on the situation with major systems (electrical & plumbing), amenities (air conditioning & pool) and other "quirks", as several things were being improved or repaired during our stay. Even if you only need the wonderful "penthouse" master suite, we'd recommend this property as a base of operations!

Within short distance along the beach road to Portobelo and Isla Grande are numerous little restaurants, two scuba shops which provide snorkeling and diving services as well a boat tours. Visit the church of the Black Christ in Portobelo and see the Spanish Fort ruins and walk the streets of scenic old Portobelo. Visit Captain Jack’s in Portobelo for an evening out with view of Portobelo below, it is a very casual place. Also one evening, Fridays – Sunday only, visit Juan Quijotes Italian Restaurant just past Portobelo about 10- 15 minutes. Great for wine, pasta and pizza!! Travel onto Isla Grande and take a boat and spend a day or night on the island where there are numerous small and large hotels and many restaurants. You can also swim, rent a Jet Ski and play or just relax.

For services there is a convenience store across from the Police Station at Maria Chiquita, and along the beach road drive, numerous little tiendas that sell beverages and staples for cooking. Travel on to Sabinitas, which you also went through and turned at coming to San Marino, and you will see Banco General with an ATM out front, or across the street an El Rey Grocery Store which has everything you need for your stay. There is also a Money Gram outlet for sending and receiving money when needed, just left of the El Rey Store. Just around the corner is also a new Super 99 Grocery Store. Note: All grocery stores have ATMs. Also for you McDonalds patrons one is located there for your fast food as well. Be sure to try the roasted chicken sold at several small outlets in Sabonitas you will love it.

Travel on towards Colon and you come to Quatro Altos Shopping Center, which has an even bigger El Rey, Global bank and numerous Restaurants and stores for shopping. Blockbuster is there for renting movies as well. Go a little further and you have Millennium plaza with Burger King and Novey Hardware, more banks and restaurants. Go yet further to Colon and you come to The Free Zone the second largest to Hong Kong for a day our shopping. Note you must get a permit to enter so do it ahead of time when you first arrive. You can also drive too and see the Panama Canal’s Gatun Locks and cross the bridge below it when ships are not passing and watch ships enter and exit. Very worthwhile to see!

Beach properties sometimes can experience power outages lasting from minutes to several hours. This can effect water supply at property. Be sure to bring a large 5 gallon bottle of drinking water just in case. Easily purchased at a local Grocery Store. Satellite TV during heavy rains goes in and out or has no signal. This can be local or from storms in Panama City where the signal originates. Pool is shared with other half of duplex, however often the other unit is not rented or is utilized by owner who gives priority to renters for pool use. To date this has not been any issue with previous renters as sandy beaches are close by within walking distance from the unit.

Each Duplex 36 or 37 feature interiors, which include spacious four bedrooms that sleep eight people including a master suite with Jacuzzi and balcony! Large living and dining areas are spacious and comfortable for large groups and the kitchen is a chef's dream space! Three plasma TVs with cable are included. Ask about renting both attached Duplex units for your family reunion or corporate retreat! San Marino Ocean Front is a gated, guarded community with a marina, just minutes from the quaint historic town of Portobelo, where you can explore the old fort and Plaza or go a bit farther to the lovely Isla Grande. This area is world-renowned for scuba and snorkeling enthusiasts as well as boating, fishing and bicycling, hiking kayaking All of this about an hour from Panama City (One and a half from the airport)!
