The best of the best
The best weekend, the best home, the best ubications, the best owner, the best hospitality, i will back
average rental, great location except...
The rental was clean, decorated nicely with shabby chic decor. The biggest issue we had was that the bed was awful - sleeping on it gave me a lot of back problems - the mattress must be 20 years old. To add to it, I now know where airline pillows go for retirement, as the pillows in the unit were like 2 airline pillows stuffed in a pillowcase. The owner really has to upgrade the bed and bedding so a person can sleep well.
Also, the unit is directly behind Seagrape I and the people who stayed there had no regard for our being right next to them. They were very loud, expecially when they were getting ready to go to the beach and the two women were loudly yelling at everyone to get them rounded up. The owner should instruct those renters in that unit that the other unit is next door and the windows are near street level and where they park, as well as near their porch, and to please be considerate.
Unit was very clean. The bathroom has no airconditioning vent and the door had to be left propped open to cool it a little, which blocked the bedroom.
I think if we stay in Bradenton beach next time we'll updgrade our stay to something nicer. If you want a cheap place that is really close to the beach (the location was awsome, and the beach is fabulous), then this is a good place. But it isn't quiet for non morning people, and the bed is the worst.
Greg, glad you found the location awesome and the cottage clean and decorated nicely. The price is also great. Glad you were lucky enough to stay at the cottage. Dan
Loved walking to restaurants and beach from the house. Unit was open and spacious. Everything as described. Smelled a little musty but not unbearable. Would go again!
Great property!! Steps away from the beach and the free trolley. A short walk to restaurants and the pier at the Bridge Historic district. We will definitely be back.
Melissa, thank you so much for the wonderful review! Glad you enjoyed. Renea and Dan
We spent 6 nights at the Seagrape II. This beach house was cute, charming , clean and close to the beach and restaurants. It met all of our expectations and we would love to come back in the future. Bob and Kathy Thompson
