We've spruced-up the Cottage in 2016: kitchen has a new fridge & micro, more storage space for your groceries and a new floor; new mini blinds all around, bedrooms refreshed with different furniture, new sofa sleeper in living room, new wall mounted TV/DVD player, and added country living decor all around! Still very charming, more comfortable and the best in location privacy. Your waterfront cottage sits on a bluff overlooking the Green Bay side of the Door Peninsula. This darling hideaway is approximately 7 miles north of the town of Sturgeon Bay. Your cottage is lakeside, secluded from the main road. No noise or lights from town, either! Magnificent sunsets are yours to enjoy every night. The vast, private 150 foot shoreline is accessible by a natural stone walkway and awaits your quite moments. Make your own memories here again and again...
Maude & Bob have lived on the property for over 25 years. Along with sons Steve and George, we love welcoming our annual guests back, and those who are new to our Bay Shore Cottage.
Thanks for making our first trip to Door County extra special. Appreciated your hospitality and all the extra touches. Hope to visit again!
The Bay Shore Cottage met our expectations and worked well for our mom and daughter weekend. Steve was great to work with and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The kitchen had all of the things we needed to prepare our meals. The view and location of the cottage was perfect for exploring the Door County area and we would definitely consider staying here again if we ever return to the area. Overall it was a great value and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
This was the perfect cottage for a quiet weekend getaway. The cottage is right on the water and provides for some beautiful views of the sunset. Had it been a little warmer, we would have taken advantage of the hammock! The cottage is isolated from other homes, so it is the perfect escape if you are looking for some quiet time. I found the location to be perfect for driving to all the other towns and activities that Door County has to offer. Would stay here again.
I love coming to "my cottage in Door" every year. The beautiful piece of property is nestled in the woods and right on the water. I have my own private sunset celebration every evening! Lovingly cared for, peaceful and private with a beautiful trailed land preserve right across the street - it is perfect!
Bayshore cottage offers breathtaking views with a special feeling of home. We were married here and stayed for our honeymoon. This place will always have a special place in our hearts. Great place for a family vacation!
We enjoyed the cottage. Just the right size for the four of us.peaceful and beautiful sunsets on the bay. We will consider going back there again.
This cozy cabin is truly a hidden gem, the sunsets are priceless and you really felt secluded from the outside world. It is in a great location if you want to explore the Door County area. Our kids loved swinging in the hammock and making s'mores over the fire. Thank you for sharing, and we will definitely be staying here when we return to Door County.
