A modern single family oceanview home on Point Judith in the desirable private community of Breakwater Village. A private sandy beach, fishing, and various water sports are all within a 5 minute walk away. Breathtaking ocean views and beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed right from the deck. This home is convenient to T.F. Green State Airport which is about 30 miles away and is serviced by most major airlines, and also the Kingston train station about 10 miles away, which is serviced by Amtrak with connections from Washington, DC to Boston, Massachusetts. Interstate 95 is about 20 minutes away.

This PRIVATE COMMUNITY is well suited for walking, running, and bicycling. Our roads are privately owned so watching the spectacular sunsets over the ocean from several scenic points while enjoying your favorite glass of wine is always permissible.

DVD player, Wireless internet. Master bedroom is equipped with a Queen size bed and 32 inch flat screen TV Second bedroom has a Full size bed and 24" TV. Third bedroom has a Day bed that converts to Queen trundle bed and 24" TV. Renters are responsible for food, beverages, paper products, trash bags, and toiletries. No smoking Pets are not allowed - No Exceptions

Family Vacation with a View

We had a wonderful time with our family at the Feely's home. It was comfortable and accommodating. Everything you would need is there including baby gates, and an infant tub. The deck looks directly to the beach that is less than a 2 min walk. With 2 babies in tow this was a such a huge plus. This is our second time staying in Breakwater and we think we will return again next year! Thank you John for letting us enjoy your home. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

Fun filled week!

Our family spent an amazing week at this property enjoying the beaches and nightly sunsets. The property was very well maintained and had everything that we could have needed for a week away from home. It was a quick walk down to the private beach for sea glass hunting or just lounging on the beach. John and Carol were extremely pleasant to work with and took the time to show us around the property when we arrived. Thank you for sharing your home with us and we hope to come back next year.

another great vacation!

This was our second year at John's house. We absolutely loved the open layout, beautiful view from the second story deck and above all, the very short walk to the beach. Because we have young kids, it was so convenient to be so close to the beach- it was an easy, quick walk back for a bathroom break or to get more snacks. The house is within walking distance (but probably not with small kids as it it maybe about a mile) to Aunt Carrie's- both a seafood restaurant and an ice cream shop across the store. Delicious ice cream and great lobster rolls! John was very responsive and organized with our stay and our damage deposit was returned promptly. We had a great trip and definitely will be back next year!

The property is very clean and it is obvious that the owners take pride in their house. The views from the upper deck are amazing! What a way to wake up every morning! It was a great family vacation and would love to go back!

Great location! Great house!

The house was clean, bright, and comfortable. You can't beat the location for view and proximity from everything. I loved watching the fishing boats leaving Galilee every morning with my cup of coffee or watching the sunsets from the deck. Looking forward to coming back.

A 10 minute drive to the nearby seaport of Galilee is home to many offshore fishing vessels where visitors can buy freshly caught seafood right on the docks. Deep sea charter boat fishing trips are also available here by the day or half day.

Within two miles are Scarborough State Beach with its good body surfing waves or Roger Wheeler State Beach that is calmer for the smaller children due to its relatively flat shoreline and no drop off.

Narragansett Town Beach, about 5 miles away is a favorite for both families and surfers alike.

Day Trip Opportunities:

Take the 45 minute Ferry ride from the Port of Galilee to the popular tourist destination of Block Island. Enjoy exploring the many shops, the dining possibilities, and all that this enchanting island has to offer.

The world class Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun gambling casinos are both about a one hour drive away.

Take the High Speed Ferry to the islands of Marthas Vineyard or Nantucket, Massachusetts from Quonsett Point which is about 30 miles away.

The City of Newport with its rich history is a 30 minute drive. Tour the mansions, shop the many unique shops within the Brick Market Place or experience any of the many fine restaurants. Tourists from around the world can be found in Newport which is commonly referred to as the sailing capitol of the world.

Golfers can play at either Laural Lane or Jamestown golf clubs which are both about 15 miles away.

For the children:


This amusement facility is just up the road about 4 miles away and features a carousel, water bumper boats, go karts, batting cages, miniature golf, and a skating rink.


At about a 45 - 60 minute drive the aquarium makes for a facinating experience for kids as well as adults. There is also the Mystic Village at this location which is a combination of an indoor and outdoor shopping mall.

Bowling: A bowling alley is on Route 108 in Wakefield which is about 6 miles away.

One Half of weekly Rental Rate is due at time of making Reservation. A $200.00 Refundable Damage Deposit is also payable at this time and barring any damage will be returned within 14 days of your departure. Balance of weekly rental rate is due at thirty (30) days prior to the start of your reserved rental week. A Non-Refundable cleaning fee of $100.00 is due 30 days prior to your check in date.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
