About Julie Blenn
I bought this so I could go stay in Portland whenever I wanted to see a play, or go dancing, or a day of shopping and some great meals , or many of the other wonderful offerings Portland has. I live over an hour away, in the country, so this condo feels like I am still in the country, yet close to everything in the city.
Julie Blenn purchased this Studio in 2000

Adorable condo in a great location!
Julie is a great host with quick and easy communication and many suggestions of things to do in the area! The condo is cozy and very inviting with a great view from the deck. Amenities were wonderful and the covered parking was great! Would absolutely stay here again!
Thanks Michelle. You're a fabulous and easy to get along with guest as well. I am super glad you enjoyed your stay, and do please come again.
Great property, location, and owner
My wife and I had to leave Las Vegas and stay in Portland for nine weeks. Our entire stay was in the Serene studio. My wife needed two very serious operations only one of which was scheduled when we left Las Vegas. The uncertainty of our situation was very stressful and the owner worked with us and graciously held the property open and extended our departure date once we were able to schedule the second surgery and recuperation time. Before, after, and during our stay the owner communicated effectively and with great kindness to minimize our stress. The place was located close to St Vincent's Hospital, and fine grocery story, and nice pizza place, and several other restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. My wife had a very strict post-op diet and I was able to cook for her without concern. The property also gives access to a rec room containing exercise equipment, a hot tub, locker room, pool, tennis court and shower. I worked out 5 days a weeks which was great emotionally and physically dealing with a tough situation. I even lost 10 pounds that was needed. The property also has high speed internet and television. We had access to Netflix, YouTube, etc. by connecting our lap top to the tv via hdmi cable. Again great stay, great property, and especially a great owner who cares.
I went through similar stress the year before when my dad had heart surgery at the very same Hospital, so I was able to guide these people through a lot of it even before they came. They expressed concerns about open-ended leaving dates among other things, and I I'm very glad that I was able to reduce that concern for them by blocking off time after they arrived to give them the flexibility they needed in their crisis.
I love helping people, and whatever way I can.
Perfect place and location
EXCELLENT location for all Portland activities.
Thank you ! So glad you enjoyed your stay !
Julie is a great owner -- friendly and quick to respond. Her studio is clean, comfortable (especially the bed) and quiet. It's got just about everything you could need for an extended stay in Portland, and the location couldn't be better. It's convenient to everything -- especially downtown. The parking space is also just a few steps from the front door, which you really begin to appreciate after a few days. Highly recommended!
I am so glad you enjoyed your stay ! I hope the tips I gave you about improving the comfort of a bed help you after you get home.
We will be back
This was our 2nd stay at Serene Studio and we are already planning a 2 month stay next year. Well maintained and everything you could possibly need is provided. Complex has beautiful pool and a fitness center. Bus stops right outside development and goes all over Portland. Favorite places are downtown Pioneer Square, NW 23rd, Forest Park, Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood and the Oregon Coast. Abundant fabulous restaurants and wineries. Owner always available. Absolutely love the serenity, privacy and views!
This is a condo that lives up to its name! I transferred from HI to OR in October 2014 and planned on staying for one month, it's now 5 months later and I'm still here. As I look for a home of my own, it's been a wonderful, peaceful retreat. It's very convenient to downtown, Washington park and public transportation. Julie has been very flexible and easy to work with. And yes, just bring your suitcase, everything is here. It is clean and comfortable. Enjoy your stay here!
Thanks, JM. I am really glad I could help out ! Now, go get that perfect home ....
