About Julie Blenn

I bought this so I could go stay in Portland whenever I wanted to see a play, or go dancing, or a day of shopping and some great meals , or many of the other wonderful offerings Portland has. I live over an hour away, in the country, so this condo feels like I am still in the country, yet close to everything in the city.

Julie Blenn purchased this studio in 2000

As advertised!

Julie is a great owner -- friendly and quick to respond. Her studio is clean, comfortable (especially the bed) and quiet. It's got just about everything you could need for an extended stay in Portland, and the location couldn't be better. It's convenient to everything -- especially downtown. The parking space is also just a few steps from the front door, which you really begin to appreciate after a few days. Highly recommended!

We will be back

  • 5 of 5

This was our 2nd stay at Serene Studio and we are already planning a 2 month stay next year. Well maintained and everything you could possibly need is provided. Complex has beautiful pool and a fitness center. Bus stops right outside development and goes all over Portland. Favorite places are downtown Pioneer Square, NW 23rd, Forest Park, Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood and the Oregon Coast. Abundant fabulous restaurants and wineries. Owner always available. Absolutely love the serenity, privacy and views!

Serene Studio

  • 5 of 5

This is a condo that lives up to its name! I transferred from HI to OR in October 2014 and planned on staying for one month, it's now 5 months later and I'm still here. As I look for a home of my own, it's been a wonderful, peaceful retreat. It's very convenient to downtown, Washington park and public transportation. Julie has been very flexible and easy to work with. And yes, just bring your suitcase, everything is here. It is clean and comfortable. Enjoy your stay here!

Wonderful treehouse condo

  • 5 of 5

We are renting Serene Studio for the month of June 2014 and couldn't be more pleased. It truly is serene and we feel like we are in a lovely treehouse high above everyone else. The condo development is surrounded by trees and flowers and we can see the Cascade Mountain range from our balcony. The sunsets have been glorious. The condo is completely stocked with everything we could possibly need. Pool is heated and well-maintained. Love it and will be back next year.

Owner's Response: The woman in the condo unit across the parking lot below feeds the squirrels, who are fat and happy and actually wait for her to bring food out, chattering away saying "hurry up !". It draws a lot of bird varieties as well. Quite entertaining ! Dinner on the deck while watching the sun set over the mountains : it's hard to beat , especially when you are minutes from downtown Portland !

Home a way from Home

  • 5 of 5

I needed a place to stay during my transition to the Portland area. I did some price comparison and found that a vacation rental would be a better option. I did some research on line and came across Julie's studio based on description, amenities and cost I booked it for the month of December. Julie was great she answered my questions via email and on the phone. Let me tell she is not kidding when she says all you need to bring is your clothes. I arrived at the studio no problem(20 minutes from the train station via cab) and found it to be exactly as described. The location is perfect especially for those not driving there is a bus at the entrance to the complex and grocery just down the road. Max(sunset station) is also nearby and it is also an easy commute to the Nike Campus. As i explored the area looking for a permanent place I discovered it to be great area with lots of conveniences including shopping, public transportation, and Highway 26. I would recommend this anyone needing a long or short term place to stay it sure beats staying at a hotel.

Owner's Response: Great guest, and I'm glad she had a great stay. NO PETS are allowed, even as visitors, to this condo complex, however. She told me she hit the wrong button on that one !

Serene Studio Long Term Stay

  • 4 of 5

We needed a place in the Portland area near OHSU to help a sick family member over several months. We found Serene Studio to be a competitively priced condo in a convenient and lovely setting. Julie was responsive to all our needs and requests and even allowed us to purchase Comcast during our lengthy stay. We appreciated the easy access to downtown Portland, in addition to Hwy 26 & shopping in Beaverton. It was also delightful to walk to Starbucks, Biscuits Cafe, and local grocery store, QFC. Bring your tennis racquet & swimsuit to enjoy the condo complex activities! We recommend Serene Studio for a short or long term stay as all amenities are provided and the park-like setting is scenic & relaxing.
