Newly refurbished kitchen in April 2015 includes hob, oven and fridge/freezer.
Spacious, well appointed apartment situated in the bustling village of Rafailovici. The apartment benefits from a large L-shaped living space with a well-equipped fitted kitchen, lounge and dining areas; a sofa bed in the lounge provides additional sleeping for 2 people. Both bedrooms are light and airy, one being a double and the other a twin; the double bedroom benefits from it’s own private balcony. There is a modern fully tiled bathroom that includes a bath with shower facility. Leading from the living area is a secluded rooftop terrace that is bathed in sunshine throughout the day, and provides stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. 5 minutes walk from the apartment brings you to one of the best beaches in Montenegro with a beautiful long stretch of beach and calm crystal clear sea with great views of Sveti-Stefan. The apartment provides the ideal base from which to enjoy the uniquely diverse attractions of Montenegro and is in close proximity to local restaurants and shops.
Rafailovici : The apartment is located just a few kilometres south of Budva in this bustling fishing village with a small harbour and a beautiful long sand/shingle beach with views towards Sveti Stefan. Along the promenade are a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants, in particular there is one of Montenegro’s finest fish restaurants ‘Tri Ribara’ (Three Fisherman) where you can sample the catch of the day and wash it down with the locally produced wine Vranac.
There are boat trips available from the promenade that take you along the coast these operate regularly throughout the day during the Summer months.
Budva : Stari Grad (old town) : One of the most impressive medieval walled cities, with a fortress that protects the main square which serves as a backdrop for theatrical events, poetry and music all through the summer. The old town has a similar look and feel as Kotor with narrow alley ways and squares that brim with boutiques and restaurants. If you are looking for lively nightlife, then Budva is the place to head, with an abundance of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.
Sveti Stefan - a jewel of an island : Five minutes drive from Rafailovici brings you to the famous coastal island of Sveti Stefan. The island is now a unique and luxurious hotel with clusters of pink roofs and a sand bar linking it to the shore. There is a coastal path leading from Sveti Stefan to the secluded beaches of Hotel Milocer which was once the property of the Yugoslav Royal Family.
We are from the UK and live near London. We both work full time in the private sector and our holiday time is very precious to us. We love to explore the places we visit and get a real taste of local life, away from the tourist traps. This is why we fell in love with Montenegro.
Sally and James Harper purchased this apartment in 2006
We saw a BBC holiday programme about Montenegro in 2005, decided we had to visit as it looked so beautiful and untouched by development. We bought our apartment because of the fantastic views from the sun terrace looking out across the Adriatic and it's close proximity to the beach, restaurants and bars.
Rafailovici is a very laid back and relaxing resort.
I would like to thank you again for our lovely journey, for keeping in touch, for establishing the highly professional property management at the place that allowed us to feel comfortable and safe. My Children are still missing a lot our rafailovichi apartment and it's atmosphere.
We were absolutely happy with our staying at this apartment in September, 2012. We got high and professional level of service (transfer; meeting; cleaning; consulting on every-day routine, taxes, sight-seeing, etc). All the promises were kept. All our requests were met immediately .
The apartment were spacious, airy, well-maintained, clean and very cozy. A big rooftop terrace granted us lovely view of Adriatic. My children and I felt ourselves at home there. It was 7 –minute walk from the sea and a sandy beach with lounges and a parasol (8 euro for a set (2+1)). There were quite a lot of small shops in the vicinity and about 15 restaurants at the embankment. Some of them were really worth to go there: Dolce Vita, La Mirage. We also found touristic agencies to buy a tour around Montenegro and Croatia at the embankment . A 5-minute walk from the apartment brings to a road with a regular buses to go to Budva, Kotor, Svety-Stefan.
We are very thankful for our happy and sunny being at Rafailovichi apartment .
Ira, Sasha, Artem.
After arriving in Rafailovici, we were shown to the apartment which is on the top floor and was shown the view from the balcony which was superb!! Many happy hours were spent on the balcony drinking, eating and watching the world go by.
The apartment itself is very comfortable , spacious and clean and as a family of four we were very happy with the accommodation. Outside, almost immediately is a shop to get your basic provisions , including wine! and we also timed the walk to the beach which took 3 minutes. On the seafront there are several restaurants, seafood and pizzas etc which all offered good service and nice food. Rafailovici is a nice resort and ideally positioned for trips to Budva which is excellent (5 mins drive max) and the other way is Sveti stefan which is around the same distance.
