Absolutely magnificent place to call your home away from home anytime of year.

Stunning construction and views atop Sugar Mountain, NC.
Many amenities that other properties in the area do not have.
Convenient to food, shopping and fun.
Cozy 1100 sqft. condo on 3rd floor of SugarTop resort. Magnificent views from balcony and the resort property.
Weather was in the 20's-30's - Great conditions and fresh snow. We ate meals in the condo which was great for the kids. Thanks for the great lodging! Awesome views.
We had a great time in your condo! We loved the spacious feel! We arrived on New Year's Eve, just after the area had had an unseasonably warm spell. Subsequently, the ski slopes on sugar mountain didn't open until jan 2 and the snow tubing didn't open until jan 3 (the day we checked out). This was no fault of the condo!! Lol. There were plenty of brochures for local area attractions. The kitchen appliances were a bit dated but worked well and there were enough utensils and pots and pans for us to cook breakfast and dinner each day. There was even a coffee pot and coffee filters someone previously had left behind. There was salt and pepper in the cabinet and we left behind a bottle of Tabasco sauce to the collection of a few other random spices. The master bath was slow to drain. The master bed is a king which is great when you have small kids who end up in bed with you in the middle of the night. The mattress was too firm for our liking and the pillows left a lot to be desired.
The condo unit sits atop the mountain, and there is no Parking for renters directly in front of building. Instead you park in lower lots and a shuttle takes you up. Somewhat of a hassle with little kids, but again no fault of the owner! Beautiful views of the mountain and sunsets :)
My kids loved the indoor pool (too cold for me!) and the hot tub. The pool area had great views of the ski slopes.
The owners were great to work with and responded to inquiry almost immediately.
Highly recommend this condo!!!
Worked perfect for our family of 4!
Owner response was very fast, courteous and accommodating. The staff was beyond friendly and very helpful. The place was very inviting and comfortable. The only reason why I did not rate 5 star is because the master bedroom bed was so hard that we did not sleep very well and my husband can usually sleep anywhere! The other bedroom was very comfortable. Also the pans in kitchen were very old and peeling. Other than that, we absolutely loved going there and would definitely return in the future. We have a place at the beach and are really funny about lending it because we are so particular, so we appreciate you letting us be apart of your place that I know you love so much.
Overall, we had a nice stay at this condo. While the condo is nice, it could probably be cleaned a little bit more thoroughly. We found objects and trash under several pieces of furniture. We enjoyed the resort's pool and hot tub.
Our family was very impressed with the condo and the owners. The place was in excellent condition - not the run down and ragged stuff you sometimes find in rental properties. The swimming pool/ spa was beautiful and had the most amazing view of the slopes. It was fun to come back at night and enjoy it. It took about 10 minutes to drive from where we got on the slopes to ski. There is a trick back way if you already have skis, but we didn't, and our kids were beginners so they couldn't do it anyway. I was thankful it was warm and the roads clear when we went because it was a little bit of a drive up the mountain, but fine. The local grocery was between the slopes and the condo, so that was super convenient, too. We cooked each night and found ample supplies in the kitchen. One thing we didn't see were extra towels for the pool-- so I'd encourage people to bring some extras if you think you might need some. We just conserved. I'd definitely stay at this condo again.
This condo was so perfect! My husband and I were looking to have a ski trip. We haven't been skiing since our first child was born so I wanted to stay somewhere close to the ski resort and that would cozy and homey feeling. This place fit the bill and as a HUGE added bonus had fantastic views! We especially enjoyed having access to a hot tub after being out in the cold for hours! Everything in the condo was clean and in working condition. While my husband and I didn't have a need for a second bedroom on this trip, we started thinking about a trip back and bringing our two boys. We were beyond pleased with the accommodations! At the end of our trip my husband and I realized that the ski slopes could be walked to from the guard gate - oh well, now we know for next time! The owner was very easy to work with and provided us with the rental agreement information and our damage deposit refund in a very timely manner! If you're looking for a great place to stay in the mountains, look no further!
