Privatel and secluded, yet just a short walk across the street to find a 24 hour convenience store, tubing adventures, and live music under the stars at Whitewater Amphitheater! With a short, convenient drive to Canyon Lake, River Road, Historic Gruene, Wimberely and New Braunfels, the Old Goat House is the ultimate location for your Texas Hill Country Vacation! Great for winter Texans!
The Old Goat House interiors have been created with high end, rustic, designer finishes, punctuated with whimsical, Goat House Art. This quaint, 1200 sq. ft., cabin-like home features 3 bedrooms, with queen size beds, each with a closet and television, with each bedroom having its own bathroom, linens and towels provided. The open floor plan offers a fully-equipped kitchen and a great room, with a large leather sectional, for entertaining friends and family. You will love relaxing here with your family and friends and getting to the river without the hassle of driving and parking!
We are adding properites. Coming soon! 2 Additional properties.
The place was in a very good location. We literally walked everywhere which was nice. You have options to rent tubes that will take anywhere from 2-3 hours or even 5-6 hours. The amphitheater was just a few minutes within walking distance. The house was very neat and very clean! Future renters should know there is no oven but they do have a grill, microwave, and stove. It wasn't a big deal for us because we mainly grilled. We can't wait to go back! They also have a larger home that is fantastic!
We had an AWESOME stay and time in this precious, charming house! Went to the river with a group of young adults, (10 people total), and this place was PERFECT!!! Although a little far from town, (when I had to run to Wal Mart for some weekend necessities), it was perfect for what we had gone to do... Float the river! Was so nice to not have to worry about the young'uns driving anywhere, because everything was right there as far as entertainment. Convenience store on the corner, River outfitter and access to the river within walking distance, Daisy Dukes (where we were surprised to find Whiskey Myers and Stoney LaRue playing that night), great deck for grilling and hanging out to play games and visit, NICE, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, nice air mattress for extra sleeping space, cabinet full of movies, free WIFI, cable TV, and big open floor in LR where we could all gather inside with nice cool A/C, plenty of hot water for every shower, and the list goes on and on! We will DEF be staying here in the future when the river calls us again, (which it does at least once or twice each year). Owners were so very kind and easy to work with, I almost feel like family now! :-) Needless to say, we were VERY impressed! Thanks Ron and Mark! We will be back soon!
A great place to stay. The decor is awesome...feels like a home not a rental!
Every one is so nice and helpful, wanted to know if I had every thing I needed, did I need them to bring me any thing. The location is great so many things in the area to do. Every one I met at resturant's, attractions, stores was so friendly that you left with a smile on your face. Had a great time. Highly recommend.
