SAME OWNERS Since 1998. Now that I am retired, we are managing our own rental starting in 2017. Therefore being more responsive to your questions, comments or concerns.
For the 2018 vacation schedule we have replaced the bedroom furniture, replaced the microwave. And gave the kitchen cupboards a fresh coat of paint inside and out. They are better than new now.
Enjoy wonderful sunsets from the patio of this newer, NON-SMOKING, two bedroom unit is in a family oriented resort.
This unit sleeps six adult people. Queen-size bed in the master bedroom, King size bed in the second bedroom and queen-size sleeper sofa. There is built in bunks in the hallway for 2 children. Large closets in both of the bedrooms. Spacious living areas including dinette. Large kitchen that is fully- equipped for all of your cooking needs.
Step out to the covered patio with table and chairs that has a relaxing atmosphere. A short walk from this unit is one of the four pools in the resort.
This unit is one of the closest buildings in Horizon South to the Gulf of Mexico. Walk less than a block to the beautiful white sand beaches and enjoy the sun and fun.
We are bikers and we welcome bikers during Thunder Beach Bike Rally here in Panama City Beach.

About Dyke Hanson
My wife and I have been married for 41 years. We have 2 married children and 3 grandchildren. We have always lived in the Midwest (Illinois, Michigan and now in Indiana).

Why Dyke Hanson chose Panama City Beach
We bought this condo new in 1998 and want to make your stay enjoyable. We are now using the condo during the winter, so we want to make our condo comfortable for you. It is great for all ages. Our entire family ages 63 (me) down to our youngest grandson (age 8), loves this place.
What makes this Condo unique
This condo is conveniently located close to the gates to the community and the beach. (I have a pic of Horizon South in the pictures). We have one of the four club pools right outside our back door. This is a ground level unit on the end of building #58.

Great for a big family!
Very nice for you and your family. The location couldn't be more perfect for a large family. It is within walking distance to the beach and the pool is directly outside the condo. I would definitely use this place again!

Perfect Vacation Condo
This was the perfect condo for our family. Had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean. Just a very short walk to the beach. Owners were very nice and easy to work with. Always available with answers to any questions we had. Highly recommend this rental. Hope to return next year.

Very nice unit just a short walk to the beach
This property was perfect for our 2 small families traveling to a softball tournament. The location was great on the quiet end of the beach. I liked having an entrance from both Front Beach & Back Beach Rd. The walk to the beach was easy. And it wasn't in a hugely populated area such as the high rise condos. The pools were great, especially having one located right out the back door. If I had to find a negative it would be that you could hear the foot traffic from the unit above, but that isn't a fault to the owners and certainly wouldn't keep me from staying again.

We loved our stay at this condo! We were pleased to stay in a nice area, without much traffic and foot traffic. We were happy that there were no ‘partiers’ around to make a mess or cause any disturbances. The beach and several restaurants were right across the street, which was really nice not having to worry about taking the car everywhere and finding parking, etc. The condo was well taken care of, up to date, and super clean! It was fully stocked; it had everything you could ever need, including phone chargers to borrow, toys for you to take to use in the ocean, etc. You can tell the condo owners put a lot of thought into the condo and worked really hard to make renters feel at home!
We were able to grill out on the community grills twice and had some great meals at restaurants close to the condo, some even on the beach or overlooking the beach. There are pools close-by which is really convenient for when the waves are coming in at 7ft high and you don’t want to go to the beach. We definitely recommend the Sea Screamer snorkeling tour! It was one of our best snorkeling trips, and our family has snorkeled in the Florida Keys and in the Bahamas.
We were a little confused about how to obtain parking passes, as the staff for Horizon South were hard to track down and we had gone to the office twice to see about getting a parking pass, and were never able to speak to someone to obtain the parking pass. Luckily, we didn’t have any issues with parking.
I would like to reiterate that we loved our stay at this property, loved working with the property owners as they were accommodating and were very responsive whenever we had questions. With so many activities and restaurants so close to the condo, we will definitely consider this property again when planning our next vacation!
Thank you for the nice review of our condo. We want all of our guests to feel at home in our condo. We try to include things that people don't need to bring like what you mentioned above.
As far as the parking pass.. Yes they are required, but with that being said,,, It is enforced in the height of the summer and if spots become limited. Before the gates were installed we had issues with people from other resorts and town people coming in to use our pools and other amenities.
We use our condo in the winter now since we are retired and furnish it so everyone has what they need.

Effective March 1, 2015 there will be a $5.00 per person, per stay amenities charge for each person in the party. This will be collected by the staff at the resort, it is NOT payable to the owner. Renters are required to obtain a free parking pass at the clubhouse.
