About LeeAnn Weeks
Greg Weeks and LeeAnn Weeks are a Brother/Sister Team who own 11 vacation rentals on beautiful PEI. After years of travelling and living abroad, we both moved back to the island. Greg runs PEI Segway Tours on the Summerside Boardwalk, and is known to most islanders as Yoga Greg since he is an extremely popular and in-high-demand certified yoga instructor. While Greg and his wife Cheryl love to spend winters in Costa Rica, LeeAnn stays closer to home and teaches at a local college during the winter months. In the past few years, we have successfully done home rental exchanges in California, Florida and Barbados. If you have a rental and would like to do an exchange, please let us know!
LeeAnn Weeks purchased this Cottage in 2000
Why LeeAnn Weeks chose Darnley
We chose Darnley because of the AWESOME VIEWS and GREAT LOCATION! We bought the 3 adjacent properties and built the 3 identical cottages ourselves in 2000-2002. We loved the architecture of this 975 sq ft summer home so much, we went on to build 2 more ~ Cottage 15 on the Boardwalk and Coastal Living at Chelton Beach; both of which are listed on Home Away and VRBO.
What makes this Cottage unique
Things we love about these cottages ~ the bright cheerful colours, the convenience of having a bedroom and a bathroom on both floors allowing lots of privacy for families, and the wrap around decks giving beautiful water views. Every window in every cottage provides a view of the water. It's also pretty cool having 3 cottages in close proximity to allow friends and families to vacation together. The mezzanines are also a great feature in the cottage. Come stay at The Shores and find out for yourself all about the unique benefits and enjoy our lovely island.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Avoid in windstorms. House literally shakes!
The house was clean and beds were comfortable. Views from the house are stunning and it’s a short walk to Thunder Cove.
During our stay in Darnley there were some strong winds which literally shook the whole house leading us to question whether it was securely fasten to its foundation. It’s hard to believe unless you actually experience it. If you are prone to car sickness avoid this house during wind storms. Also bring salt, pepper etc as nothing is provided.
