|Minimum Stay||2 nights|
Mountain Oasis is a 2 bedroom/ 2 bath cabin, located in Douglas Lake Resort. Resort amenities include a pool, clubhouse, stage area, community fire pit, walking trails and a private boat ramps and dock for easy access to the lake.
Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and direct access to a bathroom. Additional sleeping accommodations include a sleeper sofa in the Living room and a Futon in the Loft (all linens are provided).
The Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, silverware, dishes, and all of the general small appliances (microwave, toaster, coffee pot, mixer). To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, we've even included a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee pods, a selection of various hot teas and the sugar/creamer to go with them. We try to leave the little things that everyone uses (oil, butter, condiments, etc) In the kitchen drawer there is a full color menu from Taste of Tennesee and Clint's BBQ (the best BBQ in town), both are just a short drive from the cabin.
The Bathrooms are stocked with towels, toiletries and plush robes for your use during your stay with us (please only use the beach towels for enjoying the hot tub and pool).
The Living room is a cozy place to spend time. Sit on the plush, comfy sofa or in the oversized chair (my personal favorite reading spot) and watch TV or enjoy a warm fire (we will provide one 4 hour log for each night of rental - Ocotber through February only). In the Loft, you will find a full size pool table, an X-Box with many games and a Futon (for additional sleeping space). There is a small balcony off of the loft where you can enjoy views of the larger surrounding mountains (Ober, English, LeConte, etc..).
Want to enjoy the view of the lake? Simply step out on to the deck. By day there is a spectacular view of the lake and valley below, as well as the surrounding mountains. By night, you can enjoy the stars and the crisp mountain air while you soak in the full sized hot tub.
On the coffee table... there is a leather bound journal for guests to share their experience in the cabin with us and future guests - please feel free to take as much space as you like and tell us about your personal experience at Mountain Oasis
We had an amazing time at Mountain Oasis - the loft with the Xbox and pool table kept my 6 year old son busy and the beautiful porch with hot tub and occasional lizard running around kept my 8 year old daughter busy. We had 5 people and the cabin more than adequately accommodated us all. And having a washer and dryer to use saved us so much packing! The view is amazing!! And the location is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge but very easy to get to. The cabin was clean and very spacious. My family LOVED the cabin and we will definitely be return visitors!! I highly recommend Mountain Oasis :)
Beautiful views of the mountains. The accommodations are perfect and the area is exquisite! This cabin is located away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and tucked into a quaint area of Sevierville. The owner is wonderful and accommodates you in any way. The nice wraparound porch is cozy to sit and watch the views or hop on the hot tub for a relaxing night. My kids love it an I love it! We will be back again (have stayed a couple times). I would definitely recommend this property for adults, adults with kids, anyone would enjoy their time at the mountain oasis!!!
Mountain Oasis live's up to its name. Sits high on top of a mountain.From the back deck you can't see your neighbors. Beautiful view looking out off the lower and upper decks Grill was a pleasure to use and hot tub was great after running around or just relaxing at night,.
The cabin had everything we needed and was exactly what we were told .
We even tried to get an extra day but it was already rented.
Next time we plan on staying longer
This was the best vacation we have been on largely due to the wonderful cabin and the great people who rented it to us. Yes we did the regular tourist things white water rafting zip lining caving etc., but at the end of the day going back to Mountain Oasis was like getting away while on getaway hot tub a cold drink and a beautiful view of the lake and mountains with my wife while the 3 boys played pool or video games or watched movies. Upon arrival everything was clean neat and beautiful. Plenty of space for the 5 of us, and plenty to do around the cabin from swimming and fishing to hiking and exploring the woods. And the cabin was stuffed with extras of which the kourig was by far my wifes fav.
We loved our stay was so much more then expected. The kids kept wanting to go back to the cabin. It was nice to be away from everything. We were able to see wild turkeys almost daily. The kids did not want to come in from the deck. It was nice to have a nice place to come back to after a busy day and not be on top of one another like at a motel. Plus being able to come home with very little laundry was wonderful. The K Cups for the coffee pot were wonderful. Definitely we will be back. The kids did not want to leave.
The Mountain Oasis lived up to its' name. My family of 5 plus 1 fit perfectly with appropriate sleeping arrangements for all. The view from the back porch and hot tub was breathtaking. We watched the sun rise and set from there with coffee from the Keurig in-hand. My son was thrilled with the X-Box and selection of games. My girls loved the hot tub. We loved the fact that it was so quiet and peaceful. It was close enough to everything to be connected (about 10 minutes from downtown Sevierville), but far enough out to be a true retreat. The drive didn't bother my anxious bunch at all. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. We cooked all of our meals in and it saved us a bundle! The washer and dryer made packing simpler. The living area was perfectly wonderful and the bedrooms lovely and restful. All these extras made it truly extraordinary. Cyndi kept us well informed and made us feel like wecome guests. This will be the vacation to top in the future.
