It is quite an amazing site. More photos available upon request or check out the bufflehead bungalow on Facebook
We built this cottage new in 2007. My husband grew up in the area. We hope everyone enjoys their stay in the beautiful Finger lakes.

Captain Skip Stamberger has a water to wine boat tour and all drinks considered bus tour is within a mile. The Busy Bee is 3 miles along the lake. It is a market and cafe and rents bikes and kayaks. Del Lago Resort & Casino is a 35 minute drive.
Please feel free to ask if we have any unadvertised specials. We have 1.5 acres on a quiet road to enjoy.
We stayed here for 10 days and booking was quite easy via a travel company. Upon arrival, the driveway is steep but no problem for cars. There is a gravel and grass path to the stairs to the large deck. Most of the land is sloping to the lake but there is a flat portion towards the back of the property for a BBQ. Inside is nice and fairly updated. They provide a huge book of DVDs, games, and yard games. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. All you need to bring is food. The 2 bedrooms have large closets but no dressers and only one end table with a lamp. The loft is nice with 4 beds. Lake area is 50 steps down and small but has plenty of amenities such as 4 kayaks, 1 paddle boat, fire pit, fishing poles and chairs. The dock is good for fishing as I caught quite a few perch and blue gills. The location of the house is centralized to all the touristy sites, wineries, breweries, and restaurants. About 30 minutes to Ithaca, Watkins Glen, and Seneca Falls. The BBQ was rusted out but when I contacted the owner, a new one was provided the same day.
• Service from the owner (except to fix the slow shower).
• Lots of bugs outside at night and sometimes inside. Especially spider webs.
• Very slow water pressure in the shower. Almost unusable.
• Musty smell in the basement where the games are.
• Could use dusting of cobwebs inside and power washing the exterior.
• Bedrooms could use more furniture and lighting.
• There is no place to hang towels in the bathroom.
