Alpine Serenity is a private, contemporary mountain home located about 600 yards from the North Face entrance of Seven Springs Resort - just park and jump on the slopes; no waiting for the chair lift. The view of the slopes is incredible from the private bedroom balconies and the main deck. Cathedral ceilings can be found in all of the bedrooms and the main living area. And after a day outdoors, enjoy a cozy fire in either of the two indoor fireplaces or by the outdoor fireplace or fire pit. This spacious home is truly a great place to enjoy time with your family and friends.
When our daughter announced last year that she was getting married at Seven Springs Mountain Resort, I immediately began to search options for our family to stay on the resort. I initially booked one of the lodges, and as time grew closer decided to check out VRBO, as I always use it for my yearly vacations. Wow am I glad I did, because my search led me to this beautiful gem of a property! While it is not on the resort itself, it is closer to the main resort amenities than most of the properties on the resort, and to top it off, it is VERY affordable, and MUCH nicer than the original lodge we booked.
The kitchen is spacious and well appointed with everything you could need. The living room is great for gathering. The bedrooms were furnished with very nice linens, and the beds were comfortable.
The home is spacious, and nearly every bedroom has a balcony. We had 3 adult couples, 4 young adults, 2 children, and there was room for more. This house is also perfect for 3 couples and up to ten kids/teens.
Joyce was very accommodating and answered our questions promptly. The home is well maintained, tastefully decorated for the season, and is located in a quiet neighborhood of lovely homes on large lots. There is no traffic on the road, and I enjoyed going for long walks through the neighborhood and down the wooded lane.
The upstairs hall provided a great place for our hairdresser to do our hair, and was a great space for the bride to get ready for the big day.
I recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice spacious alternative to the offerings of the resort, you get more than you pay for in this property.
We stayed at the house with a few friends! The house is huge with lots of sleeping space! The inside is beautiful and the outside provides plenty of space for outdoor activities! There is a nice yard and fire pit! We loved the fact that there were extra tables and chairs that we could use as well as a grill to cook on! No complaints at all! We had a great time and will definitely be renting again!
Sorry this took so long, I wanted to ask my family their favorite things. Open concept of kitchen/dining/living area. Everybody could join in conversations. Fuzzball game, swing on deck, bunnies in yard. Summer tube rides, lovely state parks and close proximity to Mon Valley and family. Love it All! The only negative comment was about the hanging light over the dining area table, if you sat in the first two seats in the left, you would hit your head on the light. 5 members of my family did it, Table need to be moved or light needs to be higher. Than ks again for all the memories.
The listing description was accurate. The property was clean and well maintained. We would recommend the rental property and would go back!
Alpine Serenity was the perfect house for our long weekend getaway. We had three couples and five children (ages 1-9). The older kids loved the basement with the TV room (DVD player was a huge plus!) and the bunk beds and full bath. It was the perfect space for them to play while the adults talked upstairs. The loft with the Foosball table was well liked too! The attached bathrooms on each of the bedrooms provided privacy for each of the couples and everyone could get ready at the same time. The fireplaces were lovely and there was wood available outside. The wifi was a nice touch as well. The house is very close to Seven Springs (just a few minutes away) and there is a new market nearby. A little pricey, but they have a little bit of everything that you may need. Joyce was a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend this house for your large group!
We were looking for a lovely family home to spend time in the mountains and this place more than met our needs. It was very nice to have room to spread out and many bedrooms and bathrooms for privacy and we enjoyed the thoughtful layout and tasteful decor. It was really close to the Resort and other attractions like Ohiopyle and Falling Water. Everyone enjoyed their time, felt comfortable and we hope to come back and enjoy soon!
Me and my friends were on white water rafting trip in Pennsylvania. We really liked the house. It was big with a lot of sleeping spots. Had all the necessary kitchen equipment. Everything was working and I never needed to call management, because there were no issues at all. The cherry on the top was a fire pit in the backyard. We spent night sitting by fire and enjoying the conversation. Thank you Joyce for easy and pleasant process of renting. Hopefully we will be back again.
