Love it!

  • 5 of 5

Phil and Linda’s property has become our favorite place to stay! We have rented a few years in a row now, it’s like coming home for vacation! It has plenty of room for 6 couples and an amazing view. The house has everything you could need. Thank you for always being so welcoming and opening up your house to us!

Unbelievable spot. Absolutely stunning views of the lake. Lots of space for everyone to be together but have their own space. Very equipped kitchen. Everything you could possibly need and more. Great location. Close to wineries, grocery store, quaint shops. Lots of entertainment in house puzzles, game system, football etc.. Fantastic and complete communication from owners. Very detailed with instructions for everything having to do with the house and your stay. This house is peaceful, gorgeous and accommodating. Truly enjoyed exploring the lake by kayak. Perfect getaway

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

Dreaming a View was perfect for our wine tasting weekend with our cousins. There were 12 of us staying at the house, and it has plenty of room with 6 queen size beds and a dining room table that seats 12. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking and baking dishes.

We got lucky with the weather, which made our day at the wineries and breweries great. We came back and sat on the deck overlooking Seneca Lake, which is breathtaking, enjoyed appetizers and cocktails, while cooking our dinner on the grill. There is plenty of outdoor seating and tables.

Phil and Linda are very gracious host who meet you at the house and answer any questions you may have. They have clear instructions throughout the house for all of the electronics and appliances.

We have already booked our stay for next year at Dreaming a View. We would highly recommend this beautiful house, great location, and fabulous lake view to everyone.

Amazing Place on Seneca Lake

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed here and it was perfect!! The house is very nice and has everything you need and much more. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire and just relaxing on one of the three porches or out on the dock. The leaves were just beginning to change color and everything was just gorgeous. One of our highlights was going out in the kayaks which come with the house. We also really enjoyed when the owner took us out on the lake with his boat. The view of the countryside from the middle of the lake is stunning! Another highlight of the area was hiking the trails at Watkins Glen which was about a 20 minute drive away.

Owner's Response: We are so glad the house was perfect for you, including the kayaks and boating on the lake to see the changing colors on the lake. Hiking The Glen is so much fun, and since it is so close to the house, it fits into a days journey very nicely.

Great location, beautiful view!

  • 5 of 5

We chose this house for our 25th wedding anniversary. It's clean, bright, and well equipped. Phil and Linda greeted us upon arrival to provide a tour of the house and answer questions. It's rare to find a beautiful, lakefront home at a reasonable price.

An Amazing Week!

  • 5 of 5

This home is as wonderful as advertised! The owners were there to greet us upon our arrival, gave us a tour of their home, and were very responsive to any questions or requests we had throughout the week. The view from the balconies is stunning and the location on Seneca lake couldn't be more scenic and peaceful. We would highly recommend this property for a Finger Lakes vacation stop.
