Property was great, location was one block from the Gaylord where our meeting was. Had no issues
We stayed at National Harbor while touring in DC. Great location and close to the city. We rented a car while we where there for a week, a little disappointing that they did not have free parking for guest, had to pay $16 a day across the street. Come to find out at the end of the stay there is a FREE shuttle to the METRO which takes you right into DC. That would have been nice to know at the beginning of the stay. The room was spacious and clean, had a good time. Plenty of dining and CVS pharmacy is right on the corner to get anything you need. Enjoy the National Harbor Wheel, a fun thing to do. Stephanie M.
Great vacation property. Only flaw was very slow Internet and fuzzy tv channels.
I have stayed in DC before, but this is my first time at this resort. Location was perfect, plenty to do outside of the resort and within the resort as well. I will definitely stay here again.
My two 5 y/o daughters and I spent spring break with my two adult sisters. The 2BR condo was a perfect space. How nice to put the kiddos to bed, and close the door, while the reconnecting and catching up continues in the living room. The space was clearly recently renovated. In the fact, the pull out couch had never been opened before our stay.
While we didn't "cook" anything, we ordered in a few nights (pizza and Thai) and the plates and flatware were greatly appreciated. Next, the laundry room is clean and complimentary.
National Harbour is a nice area with plenty of dining options. The ferris wheel is an attraction, and there's a gourmet store where you can find wine, cheese, milk, yogurt, crackers, etc. There's also a CVS just around the corner from the condo which we used for our first wave of snacks (granola bars, apple sauce, juice boxes).
One last thing, the Wyndham has a small movie theater where they play movies in the late afternoon and the evening. There's also a kids club area for smaller kiddos and an arcade for the older ones. We very much enjoyed our stay. Oh, breakfast tip: The Westin. Do it!
The downside is that getting into DC requires quite a bit of coordination. The shuttle runs every hour on the half hour....that doesn't leave much flexibility at all. Miss the 8:32 shuttle....and your plan for the day takes a big hit. Also, this shuttle services guests from other hotels in the area, as well as folks who live in the area.
Stayed here for a convention at the Gaylord National Harbor. The location was perfect and the resort was amazing. I travel often for business and I will definitely stay here again!
