Great place to stay in Williams!

  • 5 of 5

Very nice home. Comfortable and Nicely stocked with dishes, cookware, coffee pot, etc. Has a little bbq grill and washer/dryer as well. It's a couple block walk to town and the grocery store is only 7 blocks away. We will definitely be coming back.

Couple of challenging things... Only 1 bathroom and the attic bedroom is cute, but up steep stars. Probably good for a family, but I wouldn't recommend out for 2 or 3 couples. Beds are ok.

Wonderful house for our family

  • 5 of 5

Our family just got back from our trip and we stayed at Rita's Century House for three nights. We arrived at night and used the lock box to get in and had no trouble. Prior to our visit Rita and I corresponded with questions I had including suggestions on where to shop and eat. The house was located so close to a post office, the Safeway and the downtown main street. I wish we had more time to hang out at the house and relax. It was a lot bigger then I expected. There was enough room for each of our children to have brought a friend with them to the house! The house was well equipped and clean. The only drawback was having the bathroom off the master bedroom. Everyone had to enter the bedroom to use the bathroom. The bathroom was quite old but the water pressure was good. It would be a perfect house if it had a second bathroom with access not through the bedroom. We enjoyed our visit and would return if we find ourselves on Route 66 again! Thank you Rita.

Lovely property, great location

  • 5 of 5

My family of four stayed here in August 2016 we had a lovely time. Lots to do in the surrounding area of Williams and Grand Canyon. Would recommend it for young and old alike. Comfortable character house with lots of charm, could maybe do with a new shower. Would like to go again one day. Thanks

So peaceful, yet convenient to everything.

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at Century House. It was a wonderful place to rest up after a day of walking the Grand Canyon. Nice, clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay. Good Wifi to help plan out your next day. Don't know what else you could ask for.

Quaint Old Home

  • 4 of 5

My family of six stayed in the Century House for a week while visiting the Grand Canyon and Sedona. The home was charming in the beginning but the lack of a queen or king sized bed, no dishwasher, and one bathroom made the accommodations less than ideal for an extended stay.

The overall cleanliness left a bit to be desired as far as dusting was concerned. I also noticed the decorative shams needed washing and the kitchen wear, including cutlery, all needed to be washed before use. The main concern, however, was the cleanliness of the shower. The tub was old and stained, which is to be expected in an old home, however the shower wall where the faucets and shower head were attached was peeling and rotten which was an unpleasant surprise.

I should also note that I agree with another's comment that the stairs to the room in the attic are very steep and unsafe for children or the elderly.

Overall, the I would recommend the home to those that are not anal about cleanliness for a few nights stay.
