About Wanda Anderson
My husband Jim and I are both retired. I worked for the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville AR.for 30 years. Jim worked for 30 years in Rogers for Glad manufacturing as a mechanic. We have 2 properties on the lake and we live near the rental. Jim and I started a construction company J&W Anderson Construction Inc. which we run now. Jim loves to fish. I like to read and work around the house.
Wanda Anderson purchased this Cabin in 2006
Why Wanda Anderson chose Lowell
We love the lake, fishing, boating, hiking and swimming. The property is located between Springdale and Rogers AR. When we purchased this property my husband worked in Rogers and I worked in Fayetteville, the location of property is half way between Rogers, and Fayetteville AR.
What makes this Cabin unique
We have a wonderful view of the lake, large rocks for climbing. Fishing and swimming across the road. The Hickory Creek Marina is just across the bay, and 6 mile by road. They have a swimming area and play equipment. A nice deck to swing and watch the sunrise or set. We do have Wifi, our mobile signal is not good in some areas. We do have a phone in rental unit for guest use. Phone is free and you will have access to calls in USA only. The phone number will be posted on phone.
100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
Not exactly what I expected..
Just to preface... the views of the lake are nice.
The house allows pets. Which means if you are at all allergic to pet dander then this is not the place for you. We also found fleas on us multiple times.
The house is by the lake... but is basically in a trailer park. The photos do not represent the neighborhood well and the area was overgrown and very trashy looking.
The inside is nice but dated... the WiFi is pretty strong and the AC works well.
Overall, it’s okay but I would not stay here again.
Update to website description
The website detail needs to be updated. The availability of many items was not actually available (boat, Netflix, horseshoes, volleyball, picnic area). The owners were awesome though. Very friendly.
Great Lake property for a summer getaway
Property owners were very friendly and the location was perfect. House was very clean and comfortable and the swimming area was amazing.
We enjoyed our Stay Jim and Wanda took care of any needs that we had. The water was high so fishing was not good, thanks Mother Nature. Jim did give some fishing tips. The boat was not available to rent, being rehabbed. The little picnic area that was in the photos was fenced in with No Trespassing Signs. There was a very nice deck on the front of the property with a new carpet and table and chairs and a grill and Fire pit. Hope to visit again when the lake is not in flood stage.
This modular home was not what we expected. The manger was very helpful. The view of the lake was great. The showers were slick. Some of the TV remotes were missing. It was located a long way from where we were spending most of our time. The remote drive was difficult at night.
Beautiful view and decorated wonderfully! Couldn't have asked for an easier time reaching Jim and for our request for use of fishing pole. House has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Location is interesting with lots of views and curvy roads to reach. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
