Great location!! Owner was originally responsive and nice but sorry, this is not a good condo to rent. First off, we arrived to a very dirty condo. We paid a cleaning fee but was told that was for when we leave, not when we arrive! The owner ended up attempting to find a cleaner very late in the afternoon but was unsuccessful so we had to clean this unit ourselves. 2 Hours of cleaning for 5 people. Floors were gross, bathrooms were filthy, poop on the toilet seat, food in the sink, etc. The owner said she would pay us back the cleaning fee...that never happened and no response to my messages about getting the fee back. OK fine. Let's move on...there is a heavy mold smell in the entire unit and the master bedroom smelled like urine...a strong pungent smell that was unbearable. That was very tough to deal with!! Both tubs were stopped up...it took about 2+ hours to finally drain. OK...last week of summer...I get it...call Roto-Rooter please!. That should be an easy fix. Moving on...the pink carpet was filthy and stained, the furniture was very old, the cable only had about 7 channels, there is no garbage disposal, the vertical blinds were broken and many of the individual blind strips were thrown behind the TV, only half of the toaster worked and the outside deck floor was sticky, stained and gross. Luckily, we had a relative staying in a nice unit across the parking lot and we spent most of our time over there when we were not at the beach or out to dinner. On the plus side, the location is great, next door to Fish Tales, mini golf. Plenty of things to do within walking distance...but I would never stay in this unit again, even if it was free! VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!! Sorry!
The condo was very clean, roomy, and beautifully decorated. We had to cross the 4 lane coastal highway to get to boardwalk and beach. But there was a cross walk to stop vehicles so that you could cross the highway.
We had a great stay and the condo was beautiful. Just a short walk to the beach and great mini golf on the corner. Some days we took the car and had free parking on 23rd st on the boardwalk instead of lugging or using a cart. the only negative during our vacation was a stolen bicycle from the bike rack out front that was left unlocked for a short time. We would love to stay here again.
