AMAZING 5 bedroom, 4 bath, 4500 SQ FT Home W/Boat Slip and 360 FT of Landscaped Swan Lake Frontage. Beautiful Pebble Beach Just Steps Away. Much warmer, more beautiful, and safer for boating/fishing than Flathead lake. Great dock, fire pit, paddle boat, canoe, and floating island make it so you never want to leave the property. This home is as beautiful inside as out with many upgrades and a very bright and open floorpan.
The most beautiful lake in Western Montana, and a great southern exposure made it an easy choice 40 years ago.
From the moment we stepped in the front door, we knew we had arrived at a very special place. Four families agreed, it was a perfect vacation spot with all the amenities we could want. We love to cook and the well stocked kitchen made it easy. Some enjoyed walking to the Swan Lake Trading Post to pick up the morning paper, 3 miles round trip. Owners, Joe and Joslin are characters. The Laughing Horse Lodge was a hidden gem to have dinner. Kathleen and her crew put on a great feast with super wine choices. Big Fork , just 20 minutes away, was our main shopping area. Well stocked home!
This place is amazing!!!!! It exceeded our expectations. The house had everything you could ever need. There is so much to see in Montana, but this house made it hard to leave. We had a total of 3 families(6 adults & 4 kids)and we enjoyed everything about this house. The view alone is spectacular. We enjoyed it with our morning coffee and as we ate our meals. The kids especially loved the paddle boat and canoe. We hope we are able to enjoy this wonderful place again. We will start saving for next year. Thank you for sharing this place with us.
Oh my gosh, this was so beautiful and the owners were so very nice
there is just something special about the people that live in Montana
they just welcome you in
This place was beautiful, something for everyone
if I had the time I would be back several times a year.
but I am looking forward to coming again.
Thank you for everything
The pictures of the house really don't do it justice. From the pictures, with all that brown and orange, I thought the house handn't been renovated since the 70's, but that is absolutely not the case. The house has obviously been renovated recently, all of the bedding is new and very comfortable and the kitchen has all modern appliances. I guess the owners just like brown!
The house is huge, with 3 large bedrooms down stairs and two smaller ones upstairs in the kids wing, there is also a pool table and ping pong table in the kids wing along with a big screen tv and every board game known to man.
We were two families and enjoyed the fact that everyone had their own space. We made great use of the gas grill and the big deck overlooking the lake.
There is lots to do in the area and being right on the lake was great. The only draw back was the temperature of the lake, but I guess it's hard to have a warm glacier fed lake!
Over all it was a great vacation rental and we'd definitely rent again. The owners were also very pleasant and helpful.
