The main floor boasts an open concept with high ceilings, and gets plenty of light from all directions. This Magnificent home is charming and relaxing; complete with a gas fireplace, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances. A pair of French doors opens up onto a large deck, which in turn leads you to a beautiful backyard. All bedroom are on the upper level. There is a sofa-bed on the main level.

There is another suite in the basement of the property with a totally separate entrance, way in the back of the property. You are totally separated from them.

If you have a car, you can park it in the back parking pad. You will have keys for your suite.

I will give you they keys when you first arrive, and show you around the house if you would like. After the orientation, I will give your all the privacy that you need. However, my phone will be on for you all day, should you need anything at all.

Comfortable older home in a Vancouver neighborhood

Our family loved our stay in Ken's property. Ken was very attentive to the few questions we had. For our 3 generational group of 6 the bedrooms were just right. The parking in the rear was great. It had "old house" quirks that were part of the charm. It was fun to stay in a neighborhood rather than a large hotel with too much going on.

Great central location with lots of space

Excellent location close to downtown (convention centre), Granville Island, and Stanley Park. Large home with ample space and adequately furnished with all the necessities. The owner was very responsive to the very minor issue we had, and kindly provided a high chair for our toddler! We never had any problem finding a parking spot out front. We found it very family friendly but would recommend indoor shoes/slippers for the little ones - the floor was a bit splintery! Would stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Perfect for a family

Very nice house in a safe neighbourhood. Ample parking in the front or the back. With 3 bathrooms, this is ideal for a family of 5. No arguments with my daughters about the bathrooms. Super clean with a very comfortable kitchen. The 3 bedrooms are also of nice size so if you want some space to breath, then this is perfect. With a 10 min drive, you reach Granville Island. Not super close for the core downtown but not a problem to get there either if you have a car. The only thing missing is a Nespresso machine! I would go back and recommend this place. One last thing. We arrived early in the morning from Montreal. Because Ken gave us the keycode, we entered the number, left our luggage in the house and drove downtown. That clearly beats a late afternoon checkin.

Comfort and Quiet

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this home. Upon arrival we immediately felt comfortable and at home. The residence is large with plenty of room downstairs for socializing, dining and cooking. The upstairs part of the house was very nice as well. We appreciated the quietness of the home and area. We were only one block away from a main thoroughfare (12th street) which made coming and going very convenient. The owner responded to our questions and requests right away. We would recommend this VRBO home to all who ask.
