Building 5 - Condo, 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, 6 Sleeps
Beautiful oceanfront condo with great Atlantic Ocean views. All one level inside, with elevator and/or the stairwell to get up one level to the unit (parking is underneath on the ground level). A perfect day would be the playing on the beach, a little pool time, nap time, and then sit on the screened deck watching the sunset. And I named it "Sweet Beach Music" which you may see on the emails.
New in 2018:
- New flat screen TV's in living room and in 3rd bedroom
- New kitchen and bathroom faucets and shower heads in bathrooms
- New flex-brew coffee pot - full carafe and single K-cups! Bring your own k-cups.
Bring your own beach towels, but I have the other linens. We have a washer-dryer in the unit; but please bring your detergent and dryer sheets. You may use the beach chairs (in the laundry room); but please rinse the sand off at the shower by the walkway to/from the beach.
The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans; and you can use the charcoal grills located by the parking lot to cook a fantastic dinner while you are there - steaks and/or seafood on the grill? Or how about just hamburgers and hot dogs? I have included a picture of the grill area for our building. There are also some good restaurants nearby.
Like most of the condos on this beach, the cell phone connection is sketchy inside the unit. You might have to walk out on the parking lot side to get a connection. Or just step into the first bedroom, by the entrance and you should be able to get a call.
Check-in is at 4 p.m.; check-out at 10 a.m. Ask me in advance if you need earlier or later.
This complex is near the Carteret county aquarium, ranked 9th in the country, and Pine Knoll Shores, which was recently advertised in Coastal Living! You can watch the dolphins and even the kite surfers from the deck of the condo or the gazebo! There is also a day dock on the sound side across the street, by the overflow parking lot and boat storage area.
Parking passes (2) provided for your stay. Parking is not assigned (see the picture of the parking area just below my unit). You can park either under the building or in the parking lot. One of the parking passes is to the overflow parking area and boat storage area. Yes, you can bring your boat (just let me know in advance). There is also a shower by the walkway so you can rinse off on your way back in from the beach.
No smoking and no pets! Sorry, the Homeowners Association guidelines say that renters and/or guests are not allowed to bring pets.
Saturday to Saturday rentals, unless otherwise agreed upon. Just ask, and I will work with you. Especially off-season!
* King in master;
* Queen in 2nd BR;
* 2 twins in 3rd BR.
Golf - Call Country Club of the Crystal Coast (CCCC) for rates, starting at $45 for 18 holes. And it's only about 2 1/2 miles from the condo.
Can you put a tent on the beach? Small tents/canopies are allowed on our beaches, provided they are properly secured (tents over 200 ft & canopies over 400 ft need a permit). However, we strongly recommend that these structures are not left up overnight. Objects left on the beach overnight may interfere with nesting sea turtles and their hatchlings, and they also have a tendency to go missing when they are left unattended. In order to keep your visit safe and enjoyable, we suggest that any structures be removed from the beach at night.
Security deposit of $200 (refundable after departure cleaning).
Monthly rates will have two cleanings - one in the middle, and one at the end.

Condo was very clean and spacious..great location
This was our annual Mother and daughters trip. We enjoyed our stay so much. The condo was clean and spacious and had all the amenities needed. Loved the area.
Thanks for coming, girls! I love the annual mother daughter plan, that's great!
Very clean, great location and well equipped kitchen.
This condo is very clean and comfortable with a great view of the ocean.
It is centrally located to many sightseeing activities. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking most anything. Especially enjoyed the screened in porch. Owner was very accommodating.
perfect location, beautiful views
I stayed here with my husband and baby, knowing that with a 5 month old, we may not be able to get to the beach that much. No matter, in this condo, it feels like you are ON the beach. It was perfect for us -- well maintained, clean, and very functional. Jenny was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
We had such a wonderful time and hope to be back! You won't regret your stay.
Each day the weather improved! We even saw dolphins out in the water. So much to do or just relax by the ocean! The Condo was so clean and felt like home.
Great view of ocean! Condo was set up perfectly! Very comfortable!
Weather was great! Almost like having our own private beach.

Other beaches on the island include Salter Path, Indian Beach, Emerald Isle, and Pine Knoll Shores. The charming towns of Swansboro, Morehead City and Beaufort with their many restaurants and amenities are all just a short ride away. In Beaufort you can take a short ferry ride to Shackleford Banks, an unoccupied and unspoiled barrier island populated by 130 wild ponies, for a fantastic hiking tour or picnic lunch. Emerald Isle features many attractions such as a water slide, miniature golf, jet ski rentals, and other fun things to do.
