Great holiday home in quiet private estate only 300 yards from the town centre
Please note we rent by the week, commencing on Friday.
Barkadeer is a two bedroom water front apartment with stunning views.
It is part of the Packet Quays, a private estate located between the Old High Street and the water.
Packet Quays is the perfect location to spend your holidays - quiet and peaceful yet only 300 yards from the shops, restaurants and other facilities of Falmouth.
Barkadeer is maintained to a very high standard - it is also our own holiday home. It has a comfortable living area, two bedrooms (one en-suite), a modern kitchen that was completely re-furbished in 2014 and a family bathroom.
It also has an outdoor patio with table and chairs and its own dedicated, secure underground parking space.
Facilities include everything necessary for a relaxing holiday including a comforatable living area with leather sofas, dining for six people and a kitchen with all the usual fittings (washing machine / dryer, dishwasher, electric hob, microwave, fridge freezer as well as a plentiful supply of cleaning and other materials).
The apartment has unlimited BT broadband wifi and comes with linen and towels included.
We operate on a Friday to Friday basis and have a secure lock-box to facilitate arrival any time after 4pm Friday

Close to town, great view, Ian was very helpful
A few suggestions: 1) very little toilet paper (had to buy it) & paper towels 2) took all day to wash 1 small load of clothes and never able to get dryer to work. 3) parking space was extremely tight PLUS owner across (on diagonal) extended his car approx 3feet past his parking spot which made parking into our space nearly impossible. That owner ignored our very polite suggestion to back further into his space and not protrude into drive area.
Excellent apartmentl, great view, walking access to tiwn
This roomy 2 bedroom apartment had everything needed, had a brilliant view out the patio, and was well located for walking access to shops and restaurants in town. Even beaches were within a healthy walk.

Arrive at Smugglers Row, park your car and (if you want) spend your holiday car-free. Full BT unlimited WiFi. Within a few minutes walking distance of the apartment you will find: Pubs and restaurants: local cornish hostelries and restaurants less than 10 minutes walk Shops - including local bakery, fishmonger and butcher as well as convenience stores and Tesco Metro, all within 5 minutes walk. Ferries and boats from the pier are only 4 minutes away: Ferries to St Mawes, Truro and Helford. Boat trips for fishing, dolphin watching or sightseeing. Beautiful beaches (20 mins walk, 5 mins car). Gardens (15 mins). Theatres (20 mins walk, 5 mins car). And, if you want to drive, within 1/4 to 3/4 of an hour you will find: More beautiful beaches. Cornish fishing villages. Cliff side walks. National Trust and RHS gardens. Eden Project. Attractions and fun parks for the children. Countless pubs and restuarants in great locations. Additional information about rental rates
The weekly rental amount that we charge is between £350 and £930 depending upon season. Our website "Barkadeer" shows all of the rental amounts for all weeks. When booking via HomeAway a deposit of £250 is required to secure the reservation with the balance payable 4 week prior to your holiday. When you book via HomeAway you also pay a Service Fee. Per HomeAway this fee covers the cost of providing 24/7 customer support, enhanced site and mobile features for both owner and travelers, plus expanded marketing efforts to generate more exposure to global audiences. Additionally, when a traveler books and pays through HomeAway, they are eligible for the Book with Confidence Guarantee."
