Great holiday home in quiet private estate only 300 yards from the town centre

Please note we rent by the week, commencing on Friday.

Barkadeer is a two bedroom water front apartment with stunning views.

It is part of the Packet Quays, a private estate located between the Old High Street and the water.

Packet Quays is the perfect location to spend your holidays - quiet and peaceful yet only 300 yards from the shops, restaurants and other facilities of Falmouth.

Barkadeer is maintained to a very high standard - it is also our own holiday home. It has a comfortable living area, two bedrooms (one en-suite), a modern kitchen that was completely re-furbished in Spring 2014 and a family bathroom.

It also has an outdoor patio with table and chairs and its own dedicated, secure underground parking space.

Facilities include everything necessary for a relaxing holiday including a comforatable living area with leather sofas, dining for six people and a kitchen with all the usual fittings (washing machine / dryer, dishwasher, electric hob, microwave, fridge freezer as well as a plentiful supply of cleaning and other materials).

The apartment has unlimited BT broadband wifi and comes with linen and towels included.

We operate on a Friday to Friday basis and have a secure lock-box to facilitate arrival any time after 4pm Friday

Großzügiges Apartment mit schönem Blick

Das Apartment ist großzügig, hat einen tollen Blick auf den Naturhafen, einen Tiefgaragenplatz und man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß mitten in Falmouth.

Mit einem Auto kann man von hier aus ganz Cornwall kennen lernen.

Pubs and restaurants: local cornish hostelries and restaurants less than 10 minutes walk

Shops - including local bakery, fishmonger and butcher as well as convenience stores and Tesco Metro, all within 5 minutes walk.

Ferries and boats from the pier are only 4 minutes away: Ferries to St Mawes, Truro and Helford. Boat trips for fishing, dolphin watching or sightseeing.

Beautiful beaches (20 mins walk, 5 mins car). Gardens (15 mins). Theatres (20 mins walk, 5 mins car).

And, if you want to drive, within 1/4 to 3/4 of an hour you will find: More beautiful beaches. Cornish fishing villages. Cliff side walks. National Trust and RHS gardens. Eden Project. Attractions and fun parks for the children. Countless pubs and restuarants in great locations.

It also has a balcony with waterfront views and extra single Slumberland sofa bed, that will comfortably accommodate one more person / child. The second bedroom has two single beds and also has a waterfront view. There is a second single sofa bed in the living area, again suitable for a child.

Barkadeer is a great place to spend a holiday. It is our holiday home and fitted to a high standard. Some weeks we like to arrive, park the car and then spend a car free week. But then again, there is so much to see within 30 miles that other weeks we use the car quite a lot. Like many Cornish properties, the apartment is accessed by a series of steps. These number around 40 for each direction of access. If you can manage stairs in a two story house they should be no problem.
