Thanks for the wonderful week at your mountain home. We made a lot of family& friend memories to cherish forever, late night lounging on the deck and in the hot tub. The kids enjoyed the game room, everything was perfect. Thank you for one of our best vacations...so relaxing...we loved it.

Perfect place for our ladies retreat - felt like a friend's home

  • 5 of 5

I have nothing negative to say about our experience with this home or the owner - both exceeded expectations. I will definitely use this property from now on for my mini retreats because of how perfect it was. It was clean, beautifully inviting and had everything we needed. The game room area was so relaxing and we loved that the owner provided feed for the deer who practically lived with us. I highly recommend this home.

Great Decks!

  • 4 of 5

Casa Buena Vista is appropriately named: the views from the 3 decks are very nice! In addition, the regular feeding of the local wildlife makes deck-time even more enjoyable. In addition, this home is comfortably furnished with lots of fun, mountain flavor.

The carpet on the main floor is very "tired..." replacement would have earned a fifth star from this reviewer!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. It has been a busy summer season of guests. Our caretakers try to keep up with spill and foot traffic stains, particularly the path between our kitchen and awesome deck. We steam clean the carpets after each season and we APOLOGIZE your stay came towards the end of summer. We'll be replacing carpet in the off season. We're happy your stay otherwise went well and you enjoyed the frequent visits of wildlife, our amenities and of course cool mountain air. Please come back and we'll strive to win back that fifth star. Jim & Dinah

FABULOUS!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful home, everything we needed was there; fully stocked kitchen items for cooking, board and card games. We loved the hot tub especially after our mountain hike. Our grandkids especially loved watching the birds and feeding the deer every morning and evening. The multi tiered decks provided beautiful views and a great place for morning coffee, reading a good book and smores on the grill in the evening. We highly recommend Casa Buena Vista for a family gathering and hope to return again someday. One of our all time favorite long weekend get-a-ways!

Owner's Response: Check, check, check. We love our guests to have expectations and then hear we meet them with flying colors. Please believe us when we say our checklist is bigger then any you could compile. We have our own family to please (from kids to seniors) and we go to many lengths to impress families at every level from the instant they enter the front door. Thanks for staying with us and we'll take you up on your plans to stay with us again. Winters are a blast also. We're also looking forward to Texas Tech football having a break-out year. Wreck'em! Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

The house, the location and the amenities were great. We had 6 adults and 4 kids. Everyone enjoyed the game room and deer sightings every morning and afternoon right out our door. We spent a good deal of our time in the hot tub and deck overlooking the mountain range. It is easy access to everything Ruidoso has to offer. I would highly recommend Casa Buena Vista.

Best rental in ruidoso

This mountain home is just that.

It is owned by a family that shares their little slice of heaven with guests.

No detail is overlooked. We can't wait to return.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your comments. We love to share our home to others for enjoying a unique alpine experience in the Land of Enchantment - New Mexico. All seasons bring great weather. Our home has plenty of space to spread out, spectacular deck mountain views and attracts an abundance of wildlife. We are a comfortable home base for all Ruidoso area adventures, but for many our place is great for just enjoying the moment. Thanks for staying with us. Come again. Jim & Dinah
