We offer a 3000 sf fully furnished and amenity filled home for a relaxing mountain experience. The home is large enough for family reunions, shared friend vacations and small group retreats, or just a single family that wants room to spread out. Rates depend on final confirmed occupancy. Our home is located at the Alto Lakes Golf & Country Club 10 miles north from downtown Ruidoso at an elevation of 7450 ft. The homesite sits on a heavily wooded ridge with predominantly southern views of sunrises and sunsets. There are 5 large sized bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and it sleeps 10 easily. We have an additional 3000 sf of outside deck area on three levels with spectacular views of Sierra Blanca. The kitchen is fully equipped - microwave, disposal, stove, dishwasher, utensils, cookware, and a breakfast bar. Other features include a family dining table, vaulted greatroom and a separate downstairs media/gameroom for entertaining.
Thanks for the wonderful week at your mountain home. We made a lot of family& friend memories to cherish forever, late night lounging on the deck and in the hot tub. The kids enjoyed the game room, everything was perfect. Thank you for one of our best vacations...so relaxing...we loved it.

We love CASA BUENA VISTA!
This is the second time that we have stayed at Casa Buena Vista during the Christmas holiday. The house is very cozy and offers enough space for our family. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Ruidoso.
We were more than pleased with our stay at this lovely home. It has everything you could imagine and more. Tons of space, thousands of feet of deck which overlook beautiful scenery, there was deer corn on site to feed the deer every evening and every morning. The deer are there like clockwork. This house has three levels, and on the bottom level there are tons of activities from boardgames, foosball, pool, television, bar, darts and more! And don't forget the amazing hot tub which is right outside of all of these activities. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and everybody in our group was extremely pleased. Everything was clean, and the place has a very unique lodge feel with unique decor as well as three fireplaces. You can tell this couple put a lot of time effort and love into this home. It was also nice to be so far up in the mountains yet only about 10 miles from town and the casino. Once you are back at the house, you would never know you were that close to the city. We also saw elk on the golf course. Just an amazing place overall, and you can't beat the price. The photos do not do it justice, I would encourage anybody to rent this vacation home. I know we will be back for sure!
Thank you so much!
This was a very welcoming and homey place to spend time with our family. Lots of room and things to do. We were there for the Cowboy Symposium, but in retrospect we all wish we had spent most of our time there and less at the Symposium. It was just very relaxing.
I want to commend the owners of this property for their customer service because while our stay wasn't as good as it could have been the owners of this property made every effort to compensate us for our problems we encountered at their home. Our problems were taken care of quickly and the owners were friendly and timely under difficult circumstances. In all fairness I couldn't write a good or a bad report without giving the owners a fair chance to fix the issues we encountered at their property. I can only say that the owners are good people and they tried to do the right thing for us, their customer.
This property is every bit as good as advertised. We have stayed many places in Ruidosa, but this is by far the best. The downstairs game room area is a great place to sit and relax, read a book or play cards and pool. The rest of the house was roomy enough for the two couples that traveled with us and each couple could have a complete floor and bathroom to their selves. This was a great place to stay to enjoy the comfort and view, to enjoy all that Ruidosa has to offer. The deck space is fabulous and where we spend all of our mornings talking and enjoying the wildlife that comes to visit.
Thank you Jim and Dinah for letting us stay at your house. We will be back.
This was our second stay, and we enjoyed the cabin once again. The hummingbirds and other various birds were fun to watch with our morning coffee. Our two grandchildren enjoyed the abundant deer population. Of course the basement game room was a big hit with everyone. We hope to stay again in the future.
