About Ed & Tina White
We are one of those married couples who still love and like each other after 29 years with three beautiful boys (now young men) !!
Ed & Tina White purchased this House in 1999
Why Ed & Tina White chose Franklin
We drove out in the area every weekend with our three little boys and best dog Grace with the dream of "one day we will live out here" We wanted to raise our boys outside of the city, so they could run thru creeks, explore the woods, swim in a real pond and have all types of adventures that boys need. That "one day" happened quickly when someone walked up to our house in Nashville one day and bought it literally "right out from under us" the rest is history.... :)
What makes this House unique
The minute we walked on the back porch and witnessed the beautiful view Ed said "We are home" and the rest is history. The boys did run thru the creek, had adventures in the woods and swam in a real pond just like we always hoped with the best dog Grace at their sides constantly.

Was wonderful getaway
Wonderful semi-rural location with great views and beautiful antiques.
We loved our stay at this beautiful location. A great place to return to after a day of sight seeing in the Nashville area.
Perfect family gathering!
Clean, warm and set-up to accommodate a relaxing get-away.
Very gracious hosts!
Tina was available to answer any questions we had & was extremely accommodating to our special needs. Sunset Ridge is in a beautiful setting with horses next door! We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed.
We'll be back on our next trip to Nashville!
Everything we needed!
The house created the perfect retreat for our women who were completing their yoga teacher training with us. They had some intense study time, practice time, reflection and contemplative time in this charming home. Well organized kitchen, sunlit back room, cozy circle of trust living room, beautiful view, and a fire pit for one of our final ceremonies. Thank you!
What a gem of a place! We were in town for several days for a baseball tournament in Fairview. The location was perfect for us because it was 15 minutes from the ballfield. Tina was wonderful, answering a million questions for me both prior to our arrival and during our stay. The house was fully stocked with everything from laundry detergent to dishwashing detergent to paper towels. I had packed all of this in anticipation of needing it, but could have lightened my load and not packed any of it. The house was absolutely lovely, decorations were beautiful and the location was serene and in the country. This was our kind of place! We took a walk down to the creek and it was simply beautiful, and was a great way to cool off after a long hot day of baseball! I sure hope baseball takes us back to Fairview, because we would love to stay here again!! Thanks Tina!!!
If you want to experience more than being in a magical spot (what the boys always say) and little slice of heaven...
Leipers Fork is a short 10 minute beautiful drive down a tree lined country road where you can listen to live music, browse thru an old book store, shop for antiques or art galleries, eat anything from BBQ to organic food and during the season outdoor movies are playing on the weekends. There is some type of event happening all the time. Sit on the porch and talk with the locals. Everyone is kind and happy - just like Mayberry!
Franklin is a 30 minute drive down the road where there is an actual "town square". Voted "best southern town to visit". Shops, great food and lots of history. Visit the Visitors Center, those folks always love to share information and news about the area. They can set you up with tours telling about the Battle of Franklin.
Nashville approximately 40 minutes down the road is always a treat. Sports, Entertainment, Shopping, Restaurants... World Famous Tootsies on Broadway is always a fun place to go as well as tours of the Ryman.
Fairview is 5 minutes away. Fairview is a little place that is starting to grow. Take a trip there and visit Bowie Nature Park, which is one of the largest city managed parks in the state of Tennessee, miles of trails and a wonderful playground for the kids along with a lake to fish or just visit with the ducks. Quick place to get in and out of for basic needs.
This area is really the best of the best...
We know you will feel the same... never want to leave.
