Featuring a modern and luxurious Airstream accommodation that is inspired by the great American road here in HGTV’s favorite Home Town - Laurel, Mississippi.
Enjoy the nostalgia of camping with all the comforts of a luxury hotel and experience the ultimate American travel icon, built by American craftsmen.
The Airstream is permanently parked on the grounds of a historic Laurel home, right in the middle of the historic steps away from the downtown.
Our Airstream along with 95% of the items inside (towels, bed linens, dishware, pillows, mattress, bath products, etc.) are all proudly Made in the USA.
In 1931, Airstream began with Wally Byam’s dream: to build a travel trailer that would move like a stream of air, be light enough to be towed by a car, and create first-class accommodations anywhere.
Every inch of an Airstream has a function. Airstream is the most thoroughly tested brand in trailer history. Its engineering is the culmination of over 80 years of experience plus millions of miles on roads throughout the world.
Airstreams of the Thirties are still on the road today, sturdy and modern as ever. And much like the Airstreams built in the 1930's, the modern Airstream trailers are still built, from start to finish, with American made materials by American craftspeople in their Ohio factory.
Our sister property is our Cottage (also on HomeAway) that is right next door to the airstream - a fun option for groups that are traveling together... book both if you need the extra space!
We have an iPhone charger as well as a Dohm sleep sound machine in the Airstream.
The bed size is between a full and cozy, comfy and fresh!
Guests have free access to two adult Schwinn bicycles to ride around the streets of Laurel! Since the bikes may be shared with other cottage guests, the bikes will be first come, first serve.
Free wifi, free parking, and parks are steps away, Lauren Rogers Art Museum (free entry), downtown Laurel (shopping, eating) and Amtrak station etc. are all in walking distance.
