What makes this House unique
Lancaster County is an ever-popular destination. With a wide variety of activities to choose from, it is difficult to find the right location that puts everything within a short distance. This property does just that. Just a few minutes off of Route 30, yet mere yards away from Amish farms and backroads. The thriving and culturally exciting city of Lancaster is a very short drive. It truly is the best of both worlds.

Beautiful, Spacious Home in Amish Country
This home is extremely spacious, well-appointed, updated, and with a central location in Lancaster's Amish country. We had four couples in our party and we had plenty of room to spread out, both inside and outside. We had space for both togetherness and privacy. Working with the owner, Jansen Herr, was a pleasure. He was very responsive, courteous, and resolved any issues that arose immediately before, during, and after our visit. We would highly recommend staying at this home!!
Wonderful place for staying

Spacious and Elegant
Choosing the perfect family accommodations for our annual visits to family in PA has been a challenge. This year I was fortunate to find this lovely home in Smoketown which was an easy commute for us to Lancaster city and parts north for extended family gatherings. Shopping at holiday time was a breeze with only a 5 to 10 minute drive. Although situated on a main road, it is set back and private. There is also adequate distance between the two living areas to allow for separate activities. For instance, some watched football in the lower area while some worked a puzzle in the dining room and some watched a streaming channel in the upstairs living room. There were staples in the kitchen pantry, paper products in the bathrooms and ample towels. We sourced a highchair from nearby family and supplied our own packable crib. I would be cautious about allowing children to play outside unsupervised due to the traffic; but, for our family (7 adults and a baby) it made gathering together with our PA family at Christmastime a wonderful memory!
This home is located east of the city of Lancaster and close to Sight and Sound, outlet malls, Amish farms, restaurants, great bicycling roads, and quaint roadside stands.
