We purchased this property primarily because we love to ski Elk Mt ski resort. Don is also a ski instructor there. We also enjoy the year round activities of golf, hiking, biking and just enjoying the beauty and peacefulness of the area. In the summer we enjoy Thursday night "Music on the Patio" at the Stonebridge Restaurant which the property of the Endless Mt Resort. The view of Elk Mt is awesome in addition to the beautiful sunsets. There are at a minimum 6 golf courses in the immediate area and are very inexpensive. Our favorite, Conklin Golf Course is only 40 minutes away as you cross over into NY state.

My family and I spent several weekends at Jan & Don's condo at the Endless Mountain Resort, and I cannot say enough good things about the unit or the Herrs. Everything was provided for us, and any questions that came up were answered immediately by Jan or Don personally. Plenty of room for everyone, nicely decorated unit, access to the rec center with pool/hot tub/game room. Added bonus with the short hop across the parking lot to the Stone Bridge Inn / Restaurant, which caters to all with the more fancy restaurant upstairs, and the pub downstairs. About 2 miles to the mountain, so it made any back and forths a breeze. Will definitely be going back.
The condo was very nice, and all that we were looking for. It was tastefully decorated and everything that we needed in the condo was included (linens, kitchen supplies, etc) It was located conveniently close to Elk Mountain. The sauna and hot tub was a nice touch after a long day of skiing.
Jan and Don were very nice to work with. They were prompt in responding to questions and provided comprehensive instructions. I would definitely stay there again on another trip to Elk Mountain!
This was our first time in the Elk Mountain area and we were not disappointed! The condo was perfect! We have sleeping issues with our family (snoring) and Jan and
Don were able to accommodate! The furnishings were lovely and we felt more like we were a guest in someone's lovely home than a stark hotel room. The bed, futon, and sofa bed were all comfortable and the wood burning stove was a highlight! The kitchen was stocked with every imaginable utensil/appliance--we didn't want for anything. My son really loved the jetted tub too! Jan and Don were very easy to communicate with and they answered any questions we had! The Stone Bridge Inn is right on the property and we enjoyed two delicious dinners while we were there.
Some advice: The condo options on this page are a little confusing--your best bet is to email/call Jan or Don and tell them what you want and they'll set you up!
The skiing was some of the best we've ever experienced! We've been all over Vermont and the consistency of the snow/powder at Elk is amazing! It would be our "go to" mountain if it wasn't 4.5 hours away:(. But we will be back!
Thanks Jan and Don!
It's amazing the difference staying in a privately owned vacation home can be from staying in one of the others rented through the resort! Recently, my wife, son, and parents stayed in one of the condos (they are split into two fully separate units), when we visited Elk for my birthday and a last minute, end of season ski trip. The ski conditions were incredible and we couldn't have had a better time.
We've been to Endless Mountain resorts several times before on family ski trips to Elk. The resort is cozy, and a very short drive to Elk Mt, which doesn't have on-slope accommodations. As as in the past, we had full access to all the resort amenities which are nice, if not extravagant. We swam in the pool, relaxed in the game room, and had an incredible meal at the Stonebridge which is also at the resort. These are thing we've done in the past, and expected.
What stood out for us was the condo. The owners have added lots of personal touches, and upgrades to the condo, that make it feel more like you are staying at someone's home than an impersonal room, which really added to overall experience, and helped us to relax. Other units we've stayed at in in the past had issues with regulating the temperature, and some in our group were cold at night. That wasn't the case AT ALL here! The temperature was very pleasant, and easy to make minor adjustments to without making the place feel too hot.
Furnishings were comfortable, and the condo was tastefully decorated, which must have been a challenge due to space constraints. The kitchen was also well stocked with plenty of good quality cooking utensils and pots and pans. We had brought a few of our own things just in case (based on past experiences with other units), but didn't really need them. There was plenty of dishes and silverware available as well. All the linens, towels, blankets, and comforters were clean and smelled fresh.
The condo's are not extremely spacious, but fine for a small group (or a larger one if renting both units) I'd rate the condo we stayed at as at least one point higher than other condos we've stayed at at the same resort. It was a very welcome surprise to stay at a place that SURPASSED all expectations from past experiences (a solid 4) there. A couple of days of extremely good ski conditions
was icing on the cake.
Thanks very much to Jan and Don for letting us spend time here!
