Come stay in the largest vacation rental in Jackson!
Built in 1939, this historic home has a lot of old charm in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Jackson. We considered calling it Granny's Abode. It was a foreclosure and was vacant for 2 years before we acquired it. We conducted an extensive rehab with you in mind. This house was made specifically to be a vacation rental.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you're not staying for only quiet enjoyment, ANY type of event, activity, or festival must be fully disclosed and approved before booking.
Many different walks-of-life have stayed at the house. People have come for wedding receptions, cocktail parties, baseball teams, political events, and simple quite enjoyment. The Mississippi Museum of Art has also booked the house. They had a famous artist stay, Jeffrey Gibson. They filmed a documentary of his art on the property.
The property has a guest unit. The unit shares a small wall with one of the bedrooms of this listing. If you have not booked the guest unit in junction with this listing, you may hear slight noises from the neighbors, but nothing that should impact your stay or sleep.
Note: For safety, there is video surveillance around the outside of the house. This is not a reflection of the area. It's a great and safe neighborhood.
