A last minute cancellation means that our home is now available from January 3rd to January 9th, 2017.

This beautiful 2160 square foot home home was built in 2007 and remains owned by the original couple, who plan to retire in the home. It features four large bedrooms as well as a large open space grand room with 12 foot ceilings and located in the central area of the home.

The Master Bedroom is expansive and features two walk in closets and double his and her sinks as well as double vanities. It is also set at one end of the home adding privacy and space for the renter from additional guests.

About Paul Muldoon

We are a Canadian couple in our late 50's who plan to retire in 2017.

We treat this home as a place to live, not as a rental property. We work very hard to maintain it at a very high level.

We will be renting on an interim basis until we are able to retire.

Paul Muldoon purchased this house in 2008

Why Paul Muldoon chose Florida South Central Gulf Coast

This home can accommodate a full family or grandparents, kids, etc. At 2060 square feet and with four bedrooms, it can handle a crowd.

It is also great for one or two couples with privacy assured.

A larger pool (27/14 ft.) makes for great swimming and it is always heated at no extra cost.

What makes this house unique

Feels like home and not a rental unit. Private pool and large yard assures privacy.

This is a well priced home and a great bargain for the price.

15-20 minutes to the ocean and 5 minutes to all amenities.

This home is spacious and well maintained. The area is quiet and off the beaten path. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We rented over the Christmas holiday and the home was decorated for us - which was a very nice touch for our stay. There is plenty of seating in the living room and dining areas; and all the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the appliances were up to date and also well maintained. We used the [heated] pool several times during our stay. The pool area has lots of patio furniture and there is definitely enough space for a large family to enjoy. The two critiques - If you are a TV person, you will be challenged as the cable programming is very limited [no local stations that we could find] - although Netflix is available - and the only other TV in this large house is in the master bedroom. Another critique - this rental would not be suitable if you are handicapped - there is no walk-in shower and there are no safety rails/bars for entering/exiting the bath tubs. Since these owners are very conscious of wanting to make your rental experience a good one, I would imagine that the latter of my critiques will be installed when they return to their beautiful home. I highly recommend this rental and would definitely return if I were to come back to that area of Florida. Thanks to Paul & Tina for making our stay a delightful one!! Happy New Year....

There is enough privacy for everyone yet people can come together easily in the large open living room and kitchen/dining areas. Please consider us again in the future!

Southwest Florida is a warm and uncrowded area of the state. Ocean beaches such as Siesta Key and Englewood are close by. Walking and hiking are available at Myakka River State Park.

Shopping is expansive in both in Port Charlotte/North Port as well as in Venice and Sarasota to the North and Fort Myers and Naples to the south.

Museums to explore are plentiful in the area including the amazing Ringling Brothers Estate in Sarasota as well as the Henry Ford and Thomas Edison estates in Fort Myers.

This home comes with a 27-14 ft. swimming pool and lanai which was added by the owners following construction of the home. The pool is heated with both a solar and an electric system to ensure a warm and comfortable swimming experience. It also has an attachable child proof fsecurity fence. The pool is also fully private from neighbouring homes to ensure complete privacy. The house was freshly repainted in 2013 and is fully furnished to the personal standards of the owners. This includes an office/den with wireless Internet and printer services, a 46 inch Smart TV, wraparound leather couch, a mini library and a wide range of games and activities for kids and adults alike. The kitchen is fully serviced and includes a breakfast bar as well as a formal dining room.
