Just returned from a long weekend stay at this apartment.
It was about a 5 minute walk from Rialto Bridge, and under 10 minutes to St Marks square, so ideally located.
It was our first trip to Venice, and it rained for 2 of our 4 days, so it was handy having the apartment so central that we could pop back when we needed to pick up or drop off our coats and umbrellas, as the temperature also went up and down during the day.
The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed - a good fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom (although water pressure wasn't good in the shower), plenty of storage in the large bedroom, and a nice view of the canal and a gondola stop if you leaned out of the window.
Diego had an issue meeting us at the waterbus stop, he was very apologetic on the phone, and sent a lady instead to meet us, so all was good in the end.
Diego had left a bottle of milk and a bottle of water in the fridge, and we took some teabags, so it was nice we could sit down with a cup of tea when we arrived. However, it looks like people leave their "extras" when they leave, as there were teabags and coffee in the cupboard, and also some shampoo/deodorant/shaving cream etc. in the bathroom (and a hairdryer), in case you have forgotten something.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor, so after a long day walking it was always a relief to get to the top of these stairs !!
Recommended for a great central stay, in a nice quiet location.
Overall the apartment is great. Everything was clean and stocked well. They even provided a crib and toys because we were going to bring our daughter which was so nice. It's location is prime, right in the middle of everything and very easy to locate. What made our experience at this apartment amazing was the attendant Diego. Not only was he extremely quick and efficient in solving any issues we had, but he was incredibly polite and caring. He helped us right away when our keys were stolen (or lost?), and helped us to find a place for our bags when our check out time came. The reason I am only giving 4 stars is because we were not informed that check out time was at 10:30AM (even when I informed them that our flight left at 11:30PM), and if it was not for Diego we would have been walking around Venice with all of our luggage for 10 hours. However other than this mix up, I highly recommend the apartment!
This apartment is a case of a great property marred by correctable problems. It is modern and clean and well located. It is within easy walking distance to the major sites of Venice. Food shopping is easy in the neighbourhood and the famous Rialto Market is just minutes away.
Our experience of this property was marred in three ways:
• Absence of Wifi. The day is past when the bar at the corner is good enough.
• Weak hot water supply. Providing directions to run the tap for 5 minutes isn’t a good solution for a city with water supply and pressure issues.
• The requirement that the rental deposit take the form of a bank transfer. This may be an issue for the property manager rather than the owner, but it cost us money beyond the posted rental rate that did not have to spent by anyone. Bank transfers from North America to Italy involve a string of institutions, each taking a slice off the transferred amount. The property manager insisted that this was our cost. We had little ability to argue the point as we had already advanced a substantial deposit and were shown into the apartment by a party other than the manager or the owner. The manager or the owner should establish a 21st Century means of taking deposits. We have not run into this problem in years of renting vacation apartments.
The apartment was in an excellent location just a couple of minutes walk from Rialto Bridge but set slightest off the busiest areas with its own Venecian courtyard and on a small canal. Quite close to several vaporetto stops although we walked to many areas all over Venice enjoying getting lost in the myriad of streets.
Apartment was Very roomy and seemed to have all the conveniences needed for a comfortable stay. Phoned the contacts on arrival who took us to the apartment and explained about various things. Mostly cooked ourselves although food prices at the various food shops weren't as prohibitive as we thought they would be. Plenty of butchers, bakeries, groceries etc nearby after a little exploring to locate them! One good restaurant we ate in was La Colonna, Cannaregio which was more off the beaten track so not a tourist trap restaurant!
Would recommend it as a great base for exploring and enjoying Venice either on foot and/or using the vaporettos.
We were very pleased with the apartment and all amenities. The location is so central, just minutes from the Rialto Bridge.
The facilities are excellent and the rooms are very spacious.
We did have a few challenges meeting up with the guy who showed us the way and provided the key. Our flight time changed at short notice and the numbers we were given to call did not answer.
Apart from this hiccup, all else was just fabulous.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for a few days in this apartment and thought it was lovely. With it being so close to the Rialto Bridge, it was in the prime location, right in the heart of Venice and only a short walk from St Marks Square.
The apartment facilities were good - we had no problems with anything. As it was really hot when we were there, it was great to have the a/c and it worked really well.
The apartment is situated in the heart of Venice, a five minute walk from the Rialto Bridge, and five minutes from Piazza San Marco. The property is situated in a quiet courtyard close to all the local shops.
