About Tom & Shelly Baker
We are a working couple with grown kids and 2 dogs, and we love the country. Our families have been in the area for over a hundred years. Shelly's grandmother was even the Pultneyville Postmaster. Our house right next door is an 1883 farm house, largely original, and with 7 acres with lake views. We spend our spare time fixing up the place and refinishing antiques. A lot of the time we sit on the porch and, sit. Like you we also love to travel, and do a lot of that.
Tom & Shelly Baker purchased this Cottage in 2012
Why Tom & Shelly Baker chose Williamson
This cottage was on the property next to our house when we bought it in 2012. In 2014 we finally got around to renovating it. It had been migrant housing for many years. It's popular now as a jump off point for Rochester and the finger Lakes region, as well as for snow-birds coming back, with fishermen, and also with bicyclists.
What makes this Cottage unique
The PHOC is close to everything, but quiet and peaceful. We have priced this to be gentle on your wallet, but with all that you need. We love meeting our new guests, and hope they feel like family and keep coming back.

Finger Lakes Escape
The cozy cottage was beautifully appointed and a very quiet location. We visited Belhurst Castle, Watkins Glen, Sodus Lighthouse, Chimney Bluffs, several waterfalls and B. Foreman Park. However, just crossing the road through the cherry trees to Lake Ontario was also a scenic walk. Recommend sandwiches at the Deli Co and ice cream at Burnaps. Cottage was the perfect size for two adults and our small dog for a short escape.
Perfect location for our agenda
Harbor Office Cottage was the perfect location for our vacation. We enjoy the outdoors and were able to visit state parks/beaches as well as Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge and the Montezuma NW Refuge as day trips. The Pultneyville Deli was a great option for quick meals. The owners had a great binder with food and activity options listed. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and there were plenty of towels/linens. We were thrilled to be able to take our dog with us. We had some extra cleanup because we took our dog along. and it has been a wet spring there. There were plenty of cleaning supplies available. We were not able to locate the fire ring overlooking the lake but we loved the nature trail that was there!
Perfect little spot for our guys weekend. My only complaints others have echoed before me, could use lighting on the back patio for hanging out and cooking at night, even some simple torch lanterns would do the trick. If we come again we will bring some. Could also really use a fan in the bathroom light fixture, bathroom gets very steamy unless you open the windows which isn't ideal when you're naked lol. Loved the place and would still highly recommend it.
The cottage was cozy, cute, and exactly how described. Owners were great.
Quite little cottage!!!!!
Totally adorable cottage with all you will need. Great porch to sit on and enjoy your morning coffee. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
My only suggestion is to have some light in the back so you can use the back patio in the evening and to fix the front porch as there are a lot of stones coming up.
Cozy & Comfortable
This little 2 bedroom cottage has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We stayed during December, visiting relatives nearby. We hope to visit again during better weather in order to enjoy more outside activities. There's a patio, gas grill and firepit on the property and much to do nearby.
